Man, I just can’t stomach buying much right now. The fall has got to be coming.I did sell some AAPL and buy some MMM with most of the money.

11/29/2017 3:21:04 PM
GBTC has been going bonkers along with the underlying asset it tracks, albeit at a massive premium..i've been too busy to trade the last few weeks, so i've been out since close to $1K
12/4/2017 11:57:58 PM
how do you get into Bitcoin
12/7/2017 9:23:14 PM
Download the coinbase app, and buy directly from there. Or buy GBTC.
12/8/2017 11:32:10 AM
Gemini is a decent exchange too.
12/9/2017 11:01:37 AM
litecoin boomin
12/11/2017 6:33:25 PM
anyone looking at Raiblocks? right now it's a pain to buy since you have to buy it with BTC but it's moving onto a larger exchange next week - should see a ton of volume - I think you'll be able to buy it direct on the new exchange. My cousin was telling me about it.
12/14/2017 11:55:47 AM
about what % are you guys in cash right now?
12/18/2017 12:03:23 PM
i typically fluctuate around 5-10% in cash of my net worth throughout the year - rarely will i ever go over 10% unless it's extremely temporary
12/18/2017 2:21:50 PM
Typically 5-10% here as well, though the last few years it's been more in that 5% or less range. The amount of cash I like to keep hasn't really increased with my net worth.[Edited on December 18, 2017 at 5:17 PM. Reason : ]
12/18/2017 5:16:58 PM
yeah, that's more typical. I've been about 20-25% cash for a little while now, continually taking profits and keeping at least some of the money on the sidelines as I sold, thinking the stock market has become overheated. Not 20-25% of net worth, but about 20-25% of my liquid brokerage account holdings. I'm still dubious of current valuations, at the very least as an attractive place to buy in, but i can't stand to keep that much money in cash anymore, watching the markets continue to climb.I bought some bonds today (AGG), hoping that the rising interest rates are largely priced in and I can at least make the 2.75% yield, which beats the hell out of cash. I also placed a limit order for a high-div, low-volatility stock ETF (SPHD)...I set the limit at just under a 1% decline, so that ought to go through before too long. That'll still leave plenty of cash on hand, and I'll prob buy some more of that SPHD next time there's a little dip.
12/18/2017 5:35:34 PM
~5% of my net worth
12/18/2017 7:00:05 PM
i keep about 2 months operating cost in savings/shares accounts and i keep some cash in the safe
12/19/2017 8:23:32 AM
I keep about 75% liquid, but that said, I need cash to buy flips/foreclosures and also do hard money lending for friends that flip.
12/19/2017 9:41:37 AM
Raiblocks ($XRB) crushing it right now. Get in if you have money to risk. Can see this tech going to $100+ in 2018
12/28/2017 6:45:12 PM
15%. Was much higher, but some gains shifted it lower.[Edited on December 28, 2017 at 9:05 PM. Reason : a]
12/28/2017 9:01:50 PM
3% of net worth. I'm assuming bitcoins aren't considered liquid.
12/28/2017 9:18:13 PM

1/4/2018 12:05:12 PM
Haha, was thinking about buying in yesterday, but hadn't had enough time to do any research.Def looking to buy now...What's the difference between the four funds?
1/4/2018 3:07:11 PM

1/4/2018 6:29:45 PM

1/5/2018 11:24:00 AM

1/5/2018 12:45:28 PM

Kodak stock going crazy after KodakCoin announcement.
1/9/2018 4:32:43 PM
Getting in to BUDZ today on the dip
1/10/2018 9:57:58 AM
Sigh, I really need to stop letting work getting in the way of trading
1/16/2018 11:37:05 PM
I'm the worst apparently at single stock picks. Been dabbling with small investments into high risk just to see how I can do, and the answer is shit.About a year ago invested in GoPro at $45, price now is $6.50.About three months ago invested in DXTR at $.35, fuckers went bankrupt and now worth $.04.At least it's not big money, lost maybe $500 on each. Thank god not real money.
1/17/2018 9:16:08 AM
Crypto market got hit by a train yesterday.
1/17/2018 4:16:07 PM
Was thinking about buying Budz on another dip but after looking at their website no sure I can bring myself to do it.ACBFF looks solid though
1/18/2018 1:57:22 PM
Budz buyers aren't making worried about Jeff Sessions?
1/18/2018 2:59:41 PM
So a company I have stock in just got "purchased".Share price jumped almost 100%.What will happen to my shares? The articles say they will be purchased for "$105" cash? How will this impact my Capital gains? I am not quite at 2 years so far (purchased through a ESPP plan), which is what I need to reach for LT cap gains rates.http://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/juno-bioverativ-stock-prices-explode-after-biotech-mega-deals-2018-1-1013593111
1/22/2018 1:28:34 PM
NWL took a big hit today. woof.
1/25/2018 1:18:33 PM
Ford (F):-Giant dividend, and should be sustainable. I think they even just announced a special dividend or something.-dirt cheap P/E (6.x)-leadership position on the autonomous vehicle front.-price suppressed on recent earnings miss-stock market in general is looking good, and should be juiced for another little while with the recent tax bill, but the bottom line is that this bull market is historically overextended, and this tax bill, in my opinion, may succeed in delaying the inevitable, but make it more severe when it happens. A blue chip company with a 5.x% yield (at current valuations) seems like a nice defense play in that light.Thoughts?[Edited on January 29, 2018 at 1:19 AM. Reason : ]

What's going on with ACBFF ?
2/2/2018 5:47:23 PM
The weed market is highly volatile?
2/2/2018 8:33:57 PM
The SPY PUTs are going fucking crazy. Bought one mid day and doubled my money--some of the positions were up 3000%.
2/5/2018 6:07:16 PM
alright guys, here's hoping for a better day than yesterday!
2/6/2018 9:35:52 AM
dead cats, bounces, etc
2/6/2018 11:32:49 AM
^^^ Volatility drives option premiums. Probably a good time to play with them. Also, it's just "puts". Not a ticker symbol or acronym.
2/6/2018 1:57:01 PM
Speaking of volatility and premiums, I've been holding CORR for a while and occasionally writing calls on it to juice my return. Just picked up a bit more to capture the ex-dividend date on 2/13. After that I'll either write in the money calls to unload it or possibly out of the money calls 3 months out so I can get paid again.
