^ah, thanksso I guess you just have to look immediately at 5:00 and see if they're posting it for $59.99? Otherwise, it's just 3rd party sellers?
11/29/2016 11:12:36 AM
oos eerywhere
11/29/2016 9:28:17 PM
is this thing on?
11/29/2016 10:23:02 PM
They gonna do a classic SNES? I have fonder memories of those games. Also - does anyone know if they're releasing more games for this down the road, and if so how they'd get loaded onto the device?
11/30/2016 8:45:07 AM
Classis SNES with just Mario Kart and Link to the Past would get me to purchase.I've yet to read any TWW reviews on the actual Classic NES product though - worth getting or did the nostalgia wear off after a few hours of play?
11/30/2016 10:08:11 AM
I still think they should have released it with no ability to save unless the initial game had the ability to save. I want people having to write down passcodes and/or leave their box on overnight like I did. If you can save/resume it definitely takes away from the difficulty.
11/30/2016 10:33:38 AM
Ha! I forgot all about having to leave the NES on for hours bc you couldn't save - damn thing would get hot after sitting for hours.
11/30/2016 10:35:38 AM
So many fond memories of the original NES. My family was kinda poor so I thought I'd never get one - to me that was a toy for kids of rich families. Then the Christmas I turned 8, that motherfucker was under the tree. I actually got sick with excitement. I still don't know where my parents got the money for the system itself. For all I know, my dad may still be making payments on it on his credit card.We had a movie rental store right down the road from my neighborhood. I remember walking there with a few bucks I'd earned from chores to try and rent the newest games that would come out - keep in mind this was before the days of week long rentals. I had that shit for 24 hours. We had to try and beat each game within a day unless we wanted to rent it again. I also remember going day after day trying to rent some of the more popular games and never getting a chance because this mom and pops rental store only had one copy of each game. I distinctly remember renting Friday the 13th and Top Gun and Ghost 'n Goblins. I only had a few games that I owned because poor so I spent a lot of time renting games. Then Final Fantasy came out. I saved and saved and saved and had enough money to be the first in my 'hood to have it. My friend and I spent countless hours (so it seemed, it really isn't that long of a game by today's standards) on the floor 4 ft from my tube TV playing that game. So yea, if a $60 piece of hardware can bring back a fifth of those fond memories of my childhood, I'm all in, regardless of how it saves or how long the cord is (a common complaint btw). I just wish I could get a chance to throw my $60 at it. I'm just not quick enough on Walmart.com [Edited on November 30, 2016 at 10:58 AM. Reason : fond not find]

I just want a couple of the controllers so I can use them with Wii/Wii U Virtual Console stuff :3
11/30/2016 2:25:21 PM
I guess I totally over-estimated how many people still had their working NES and all their games. All the games I grew up playing...I already own them and can put them in my working NES, haha. I still have my Game Genie and code book if I need to put in codes too.
11/30/2016 2:33:42 PM
so weird to me people are excited about thisemulators... real systems.. Virtual Console was already in place..
11/30/2016 3:02:14 PM
though I'll have to say, I'm excited about getting a spare controller if they ever fucking become available
11/30/2016 3:02:35 PM
I don't own a WII, so I can't play them through it, I don't want to somehow connect my laptop to my tv to get an emulator to work. Speaking of emulators, can you even still get nesticle? That was the emulator of choice when I was in college.
11/30/2016 4:20:39 PM
I imagine it's aroundthere are plenty of other good ones thoI feel like FCE/FCEUX is one of the better ones but IDKyeah ok fine the system is cool hmph
11/30/2016 4:27:45 PM
They are reporting that all Toys R Us stores nationwide will have a small supply this Sunday. Be there or be square.
12/2/2016 9:11:17 AM
damn, all this excitement about it makes me want to get one, despite it being a highly unnecessary purchase (for me) =3

Ive had mine for weeks now, and im so over it. Its pretty cool, but the controller's sharp edges is so annoying. I love punchout though.
12/6/2016 9:01:43 AM
If you're over it, I'll buy your used unit for original purchase price.

12/8/2016 12:36:35 PM
I could possibly be persuaded to sell mine for $105, including an extension cord!
12/8/2016 1:24:43 PM
I'm sure you could get more than that if you really wanted to, but as much as I want it, I can't bring myself to pay 100 for it
12/8/2016 2:44:04 PM
Best Buy will have it on 12/20
12/8/2016 8:36:52 PM
Did they say how many the stores will have? I'm not opposed to standing in line for a while, but I'm not going to do it for a shot at one of three units.
12/9/2016 8:56:19 AM
Yea I'll stick with emulators.
12/9/2016 12:04:22 PM
1. Get a used wii for $40.2. install emulators.3. don't stand in line or pay more money.4. Play all the NES, SNES, N64, and Gamecube games you want.
12/9/2016 2:10:45 PM
I have a wii I don't use.Is $40 the going price now?>
12/9/2016 5:26:44 PM
^the Wii's really easy to mod if you want to play older gamez like the dude above said, instead of getting rid of it
12/10/2016 2:49:34 AM
i should play with my wii wii more often

12/14/2016 11:09:49 PM

12/15/2016 9:13:02 AM

12/20/2016 2:25:14 PM
I guess if i want one of these without a hassle (or paying extra), i just need to wait until after the holidays. They should be readily available in a few weeks, right?
