Louis CK's monologue last year (?) was great. I liked Chappelle's as well. But I mean both of them have years of stand-up comic experience, so that makes sense.
11/16/2016 10:05:09 PM
Chris Rock was another recent one
11/16/2016 10:29:36 PM
I will agree Chappelle is capable of more, but it was pretty good and I'm excited about the possibility of him being back.
11/17/2016 12:34:32 AM
for Zel:https://youtu.be/jnFqcZQWBLYstrong episode last night
11/20/2016 3:50:33 PM
The latest Trump sketch is worth a bump.
1/16/2017 10:02:33 PM
Trump sketch and Sturgill Simpson were the only good parts about the episode
1/17/2017 1:20:13 AM
That was the first episode that I had watched in its entirety in a long time, and it was painful. Are they all that unfunny these days?
1/17/2017 10:08:31 AM
It's a 90 minute Saturday comedy show featuring material that didn't exist on Tuesday. There will always be hits and misses. This cast is very good, and there are a few individual writers that are turning in crazy stuff. Update finally clicked into place midway through last season.

I enjoyed old guy at a play, "loose jokes", 15 pounds, and Keenan in a car. Susan B was decent too. Host was weak though, too nervous and stiffEdit: Oh the bachelor had some good bits too, I thought it was pretty high for current SNL castI think the cold opens are usually the weakest, if only bc by air date all the jokes have been done [Edited on January 17, 2017 at 1:06 PM. One of the better episodes in a while

nice to see the process, but that was one of the worst sketches of the yearSteve Higgins is one of the most naturally funny people I've ever seen
3/1/2017 5:01:02 PM
The Higgins Boys & Gruber was a very weird show that people should see.
3/1/2017 6:00:16 PM
3/2/2017 2:29:08 PM
some gems in last nights episode
3/5/2017 5:08:23 PM
Very few compared to the last few months. Che's line about having a choice was the best, and I enjoyed how him and jost knew some of the jokes were horrible and went with them anyway. Black people drug names was OK, but sticky buns was really bad and a few others just fell flat and were uninspired.
3/5/2017 7:43:28 PM
Black people names was a direct ripoff of a David Alan Grier bit Youngblood had me crying, hilarious
3/5/2017 7:56:55 PM
Did Bobby moynehan piss Lorne off last week? I noticed him in one sketch
3/6/2017 12:28:03 AM
a show he's attached to got picked up last weekhe and Vanessa Bayer have been missing all season ^^ loved that
3/6/2017 12:46:43 AM
Just finished this ep. Chuckie chocolate was pretty great But that bar centrale........ Woof.....
3/6/2017 10:58:00 PM
that was great, as was the Spencer's Gift sketch and the male feminist pre-tape
3/7/2017 12:57:33 AM
It's always disappointing when really good actors/actresses suck on SNL. Spencer was tough to watch most of the time.Youngblood was good and I liked the TBD Republican as well. Don't think I've watched the whole thing yet, but some of the skits I watched were pretty rough.
3/7/2017 8:06:34 AM
that was a very good episode
3/12/2017 2:18:55 PM
terrible musical act
5/7/2017 12:54:11 AM
Funny, I thought that they killed it during their first performance; also, my wife, who's not a huge fan of LCD Soundsystem, really enjoyed their second performance. Different tastes, I guess.
5/7/2017 12:37:22 PM
HAP.
5/7/2017 3:14:37 PM
there was nothing terrible about their performance some people just enjoy arguing on the internet a bit too much
5/7/2017 4:16:54 PM
who is arguing?
5/7/2017 6:34:06 PM
i thought the performance was finebut i do not enjoy the new LCD songs
5/7/2017 9:13:09 PM
I really like Call The Police
5/7/2017 11:06:12 PM
I thought the performances were fine...I just don't like LCD.Chris Pine did really well. Where in the World is Kelly Anne Conway was hilarious. I also lost it with Vanessa Bayer doing the weather. It helps that our local weekend weather and anchor girls are horrible and sound very similar.
5/8/2017 10:20:04 AM
i did not understand the slavic song thing
5/8/2017 8:40:52 PM
Missed edit butHoly shit Beyers meteorologist killed me
5/8/2017 9:11:11 PM
The Slavic song was painful. I'm hoping I missed something that it was a parody of.
5/9/2017 7:53:13 AM
Slavic song is a parody of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--Vaz9jW054
5/9/2017 10:31:38 PM
So SNL is parodying 11 year old youtube videos now? I'm curious how many views it had before Saturday. For a minute i just assumed Bennett was doing his Putin with a shirt on.
5/9/2017 11:08:48 PM
Mid-2000s is right in the Bennett/Mooney wheelhouse. Not arguing for or against it, but it's pretty common for them.
5/9/2017 11:12:12 PM
I thought it was funny
5/10/2017 12:41:03 AM
5/10/2017 11:59:11 AM
Hap, one of the better episodes in a while. Most of the sketches were at least decent, several were pretty great.(except LJ's appearance on Weekend Update. That was awful, as usual )[Edited on May 10, 2017 at 12:38 PM. Reason : ]
5/10/2017 12:36:14 PM
lol
5/11/2017 10:21:57 PM
easy to see why it was cut
5/11/2017 11:45:34 PM
At least they didn't try to force Leslie Jones into that skit.
5/12/2017 11:35:49 AM
Man I love me some Haim.
5/15/2017 11:04:47 AM
I'd bang the shit outta Sasheer Zamata.
5/15/2017 2:27:43 PM
Echo Silver was greatthe rest was pretty forgettable
5/15/2017 9:18:54 PM
i remembered the other funny thing: the tall Haim girl's stank/rock faces
