How have I never heard of The Buddy Holly Story starring Gary Busey?
9/21/2016 10:37:16 PM
Hell or High Water is pretty great
10/29/2016 7:02:42 PM
American Honey is worth a watch...It's like Kids but with millennials.
1/22/2017 12:17:08 PM
wasnt Kids about Millennials? It was made in 1995 about 12-15 yr olds (i know the actors were older but they were playing those ages, i believe)
1/22/2017 4:12:55 PM
^ not really...I guess the youngest ones might qualify.

Anybody seen Hard Candy?Available on Netflix till end of this month. I definitely recommend it.There are 2,000+ reviews on Netflix, with what seems like 80-90% 5-star, and the remaining 1-star, with very few in between. It will make you go like this ---> (No nudity or any R-rated imagery, but the themes are R-rated)

4/20/2018 10:05:10 PM
All the shit we are subject to in 2018 and they cant just call the movie cockblockers?

Paul Thomas Anderson doesn’t do Oscar bait
4/25/2018 1:47:14 PM
I had zero expectations but The 15:17 to Paris was worse than all of them, it was definitely one of the worst films I've ever seen
5/2/2018 8:35:42 PM
I absolutely adored mid-90’s, but there was essentially a zero percent chance of me not at least really liking it
11/8/2018 5:33:50 PM
^ looking forward to it. where did u see it?
11/8/2018 11:43:37 PM
Alamotoday was their last day of showing it, though
11/9/2018 12:33:12 AM
enjoyed Creed 2, but it definitely missed Coogler
11/29/2018 10:31:46 PM
Just watched Sorry to Bother You...not what I expected, can’t really describe, would recommend.
11/30/2018 9:17:34 PM
the Irishman is very gooddidn’t expect Joe Pesci to be that great
11/19/2019 5:04:04 PM
where'd you watch that?
11/19/2019 5:11:23 PM
Alamo
11/19/2019 6:08:58 PM
11/19/2019 6:22:46 PM
he’s been in 3 movies since 1998
11/19/2019 6:28:30 PM
^^agreed
11/19/2019 8:03:31 PM
I understand where he's coming from... wow, I didn't realize he's literally only been in 3 (now 4) movies since '98. And I'm not familiar with any of them.
11/20/2019 11:44:55 AM
How can you watch eight heads in a duffel bag and think Joe Pesci could be anything other than great?
11/20/2019 12:16:23 PM
Interesting? (Call of the Wild)https://news.avclub.com/harrison-ford-does-most-of-the-growling-in-the-trailer-1839958747[Edited on November 20, 2019 at 12:18 PM. Reason : ]
11/20/2019 12:17:46 PM
Pesci in the Irishman isn’t much like the Pesci from the roles he’s most known forit’s a very quiet and understated role
11/20/2019 12:50:14 PM
So wait a second...You're telling me Joe Pesci plays a mobster, alongside Robert De Niro, in a Martin Scorsese directed flick, and his performance is great?Complete mindfuck.[Edited on November 20, 2019 at 12:57 PM. Reason : ^ prob bc he's pushing 80]
11/20/2019 12:54:11 PM
Pacino is older and his performance is very loudPesci is known for generally going at one speed, and it was impressive to see him not go at that speed, especially after not acting much at all in the past 20 years
11/20/2019 1:14:03 PM
Did anyone else see "The Audition?" It's a 20-minute short, a few years old now, but it was a fantastic watch of Scorcese and his regulars spoofing themselves.
11/20/2019 1:51:01 PM
Any aficianados want to give their top 5 of the year? I haven’t seen too many. I thought joker wasn’t that great. About to find “Once upon a time in the west”. I thought Glass was a serious let down too. Want to see liar. Good boys had a few laughs but overall meh.
11/23/2019 10:10:00 PM
just watched Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. very good movie.
11/24/2019 4:50:50 AM
Have a bunch I need it to see but so far my favorite is Last Black Man In San Francisco Also enjoyed Spiderman FarUsHappy death day 2u (surprisingly good series)
11/24/2019 8:35:08 AM
Ford vs. Ferarri is too long and the racing scenes are really poorly done, it's almost fast and furious level "shift and push the gas to go faster" and the crashes look really fake.
11/24/2019 8:53:21 AM
^^oh and El Camino
11/24/2019 10:31:18 AM
Just finished OUATIH. I mean i guess it was kind of entertaining at times, but definitely not as good as I thought it would be. Brad Pitt was awesome. End scene was less violent than I was expecting based on what others had said.[Edited on November 25, 2019 at 1:52 AM. Reason : I’d prob put every other of his films as better than this]
11/25/2019 1:50:44 AM
Ford vs Ferrari I think is good so far. Got about 40 minutes left but I really liked Daytona scene. Can’t remember last movie I didn’t want to know spoilers and watch first.
11/28/2019 3:56:20 AM
I finally saw The Irishman. I thought the movie was not worth the hype. I'm glad I waited to watch it on Netflix. That movie could have been 90 mins, maybe 2 hours tops. It was slow, it was boring, and I think its mediocre at best.
11/30/2019 2:15:53 PM
Watched the Peanut Butter Falcon last night. Was an enjoyable little movie, set on the outer banks.
11/30/2019 3:21:02 PM
11/30/2019 5:18:23 PM
I’d love to know what you think a good-to-great movie is if you think that movie was mediocre
11/30/2019 6:30:58 PM
It was definitely a long movie, but condensing it to 90 minutes? pssh
11/30/2019 11:02:13 PM
Yeah thats about the only thing I didn’t agree with. I mean maybe 2 hours or 135 minutes, but not 90 minutes
11/30/2019 11:33:13 PM
ad astra is pretty but not actually goodother recently watched films:yesterday was much better than i expected, very enjoyable downton abbey was greatangel has fallen is bad even if you are just expecting a dumb action movie, it's very badlate night was good good boys is okay but the previews show most of the jokesthe art of racing in the rain is fantastic, but you're gonna crystuber is really funny, great buddy cop comedymidsommar is weirdold boys is kinda cute, not great but enjoyablebrightburn is a really cool take on the super here genreanna is very good, felt like a mix of la femme nakita and the professional fast and furios hobbs and shaw is bad, very dumbshazam is greatbooksmart is great, much better raunchy comedy than good boysteen spirit never really goes anywhere, it ends just as you feel like things are starting[Edited on December 4, 2019 at 9:30 AM. I like the initial story idea of brightburn but not the execution. Very straight ahead plot with unnecessary gore (glass specifically).
12/4/2019 11:04:22 AM
The Irishman was great
