For the people that have 5+ jobs, how long are you staying at each job. I'm on job 2 in a 2 years, and approaching stab my eyes out boredom level again.

My first one dates back to 1998. I typically stay at any job for several years, although the one with the Pyscho IT Director only lasted a few months.

Yea thats my fear, I'm thinking I'll stay in current position for another year or two. (Got a big enough raise from the first to second to be satisfied on salary for a couple years) I'm BORED, I've become a expert on LS engines with all the free time I have here. We are a week into an iteration(Iterations are usually 3 weeks) and the managers are still designing. #BULLSHITAnd MEETINGS, we have meetings to discuss when to have meetings.]

Three. Not counting internship and minimum wage summer jobs for spending money. Does grad school count as a job?1. A 3 year grant funded position ran out.2. After 7 years, boss accepted a position at another university. Didn't want to relocate to Houston, TX.3. Fired.

Because my direct supervisor was a bully, a sycophant, and an idiot. The company itself had also lost any sense of corporate identity or coherent goal. Too much attempting to be all things to all people while slowly sinking into the shitter because they couldn't figure out what they really were. It's gratifying to see how poorly they've done since I left, nothing to do with me, just makes it clear my assessment of their future was correct.

This might be off topic, but how far do you pad your resume? Specifically, I hadn't used a software since 2008-2009, but it's a software that I can easily get familiar with again. Would you mention this?
