I'm interested in a Casper as well so curious to know your experience. The wife and I like the Tempurpedic Flex Supreme and I have read that the Casper has a fairly similar feel.

The wife and I got our king Casper delivered Monday. Love it so far. It's more firm than I thought it would be, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Haven't had any issues with it being too hot. I can't feel my wife stirring or getting up in the middle of the night, sleep has been great so far.

Our new bedroom set is back ordered so we are sleeping with the mattress on the floor too, no box spring. Can't wait to see the difference once we are off of the floor

I have read that Casper will send you a free pillow topper if you go online and live chat with a CSR.

We've had a Casper for a few weeks, its super comfy. Very firm, but at the same time feels comfortable.

My wife and I took a flyer on one of these.

http://www.samsclub.com/sams/night-therapy-elite-13-mygel-prestige-memory-foam-mattress-full/prod6480116.ip

Moving to a foam mattress is definitely interesting (particularly when changing your sleeping position), but I like the sleep I have been getting on it. I used to rarely have dreams (that I remember anyway), and now it happens on the regular. Maybe the off gassing of the mattress?

My biggest complaint is it sleeps quite a bit warmer, particularly where your skin meets the mattress. We got it in Feb, when that was fine. However, now as it is warming up, it is a concern. I replaced the broken ceiling fan in the room, which has helped. We were considering Casper until we came across that mattress. I am wondering what you Casper owners think of how warm it is or isn't?

OK, after sleeping on the Casper for about a week here are my thoughts:

Purchased a king and arrived in two business days in a box about the size of a washing machine. Foam mattresses are much heavier than spring so make sure to have help getting it upstairs and out of the box. It fully expanded within an hour of removing from the box. It's thicker than my spring mattress so it raised our sleeping height some.

First night on the mattress was tough. It's much firmer than our previous spring mattress so it felt uncomfortable. After 6 nights it's starting to feel great. I've noticed a bit more give so perhaps it is starting to soften a bit. No issues with heat (and we are hot-natured) - the latex layer at the top helps keep it cool. No motion transfer which is great when my pregnant wife has to roll out of bed to use the bathroom. Im hoping a few more weeks will soften it a but further and it will be perfect. If not, Ill request the mattress topper and see if that helps. Overall, for the price, I would definitely recommend unless you really want a softer mattress that you can sink into.

^agreed with this 100%, had our for a little over a week now. My wife made a comment that she doesnt sink into the Casper like our old mattress, but we also had a pretty hefty pillow topper on top of a spring mattress, so that thing was on the other side of the softness spectrum.

do you guys feel like you are "climbing out" of your molds when you get up in the morning?

definitely not. It barely sinks in so you can easily roll right out of bed.

long story short. A guy I know who used to sell $1000+ mattresses to rich assholes said that stupid Walmart mattresses is the best he's ever slept on. I have one and I agree.

i'm pretty pleased with the brooklyn bedding. it's a good mattress. only real complaint is on the shipping, and i think that's fedex's fault, not brooklyn bedding's fault. i think it was estimated like 3-4 business days...ended up being close to 10 business days and the pillows arrived before the bed. again, i think that was the fault of fedex. but it's a really comfortable bed, imo

it was the medium firmness. i like it. quite comfortable, although i don't have much to compare it to since i've only ever used traditional spring mattresses. my gf ordered it and did most of the shopping around and research for it. like i said, it took a while to arrive and tracking just kept saying that it was in Durham (i think) and was expected to be delivered by the end of the day...for like 4 days in a row. that's fedex's fault, not Brooklyn Bedding...but we did call and ask Brooklyn Bedding if there was anything they could do to hurry it along. they couldn't, but did offer to send us a free set of sheets. haven't arrived yet, but that was a kind gesture for the inconvenience.

We decided to try out the Brooklyn Bedding mattress. Will report back once we've had enough time to form an opinion.

It's going to be a big change coming from an old pillow-top innerspring but i'm looking forward to giving it a try.

^i've definitely been pleased with ours. i'm not necessarily picky about mattresses so maybe i'm easy to please in that area...but it's definitely an upgrade over our previous old inner spring mattress, but that isn't saying much considering how old it was.

I too am extremely pleased with my Brooklyn Bedding mattress. It's almost a year old, I'm a pretty big dude and there's no noticeable sagging or breaking down of the latex or foam support layer.

I've found that the mattress industry is shady as hell. Basically if you can't get a break down of the materials used in the mattress you're probably getting swindled.

FWIW Dreamfoam is owned by Brooklyn Bedding and is made to compete with the whole Tuft and Needle, Casper, Leesa trends. I only opted out of that line because BB had a better support layer.

Been living with a casper for about 3 weeks now, just added the foundation a few days ago (separate order). The pillows are top notch and the sheets are quite nice as well. The sheets are noticeably cooler than a standard set you might buy at Macy's. I'm fond of the pillows as well, they're quite substantial and supportive.

All in all I really like it and at $850 for a queen it's pretty good value for money. Took a night or two to adjust to a pure foam mattress but I've been very comfortable since. Excellent mix of firmness and comfort.

Did your Brooklyn Bedding mattresses come in undersized? Or do I need to give it a few days to completely extend back to normal size? Right now my king is coming in at 72x80. almost 4" too narrow.

^^no it didn't. ours is a queen...and i didn't measure it, but it fits pretty much perfectly on the bed frame and matches up with the box spring as well.

we let it settle over the weekend, final measurement came in around 75x80, so just under the standard king of 76x80. no complaints here, first night on it was great. plenty of room for the dog too. slept really well.

And yeah I went from a King to California King and I think it was right at 72" but definitely needed like a week to shape up. Also dumped my old wooden box spring for the Dreamfoam foundation with some decently rated metal supports from Amazon and it's such a stark improvement.

Right now we have the mattress on the floor. We are waiting on a custom bed frame to be finished. It has extra slat supports to give this type of mattress firm even support. Can't wait to get it setup.

so...i'm not really sure the Brooklyn Bedding in medium is the right mattress for us. We are both primarily side sleepers and we seem to be shifting and rolling from side to side a lot more than normal. I'm not having any pain throughout the day as a result, but sometimes in the night i feel like i'm getting pressure points. The bed feels great when we get in at night and i love the plush pillowtop. I'm not sure if the plush version would be any better or not.

Bought a traditional pillowtop mattress and have been sleeping great on it so far. It was worth it, for us, to spend a little more to get something we liked.

That being said, do any of you use mattress protectors? We got a cheap one with the mattress and it was really noisy and plastic feeling. Totally took away from the soft pillow top that we wanted. So we tossed it aside but i'm wondering if having one is truly necessary.

I use a mattress protector for allergies that i bought from bed bath and beyond that doesn't make any noise. its also prevents bed bugs (i was really nervous about that when travelling a lot for work)

I don't remember the name but i think it was branded with arm & hammer. It's silent and is also water resistant and all that stuff. I do mattress protector, mattress pad, sheet.

Just bought tuft and needle to replace guest mattress. It was going to be either casper or tuft and needle, and casper was $300 more expensive. Choose to buy the mattress online after consumer reports rated them highly and based on reviews here.

Our cali king saatva was delivered earlier this week and it is awesome! We got the luxury firm even though I was leaning toward the plush and it's certainly not what I think of as a firm mattress, it's definitely more on the plush side without sinking in. I can't imagine finding a better bed for $1800 delivered, not to mention no tax and made in Greensboro. It comes highly recommended!
