The problem with this that your name gets drug through the mud, and you have to explain to all your future employers, or colleges that you got kicked out of school based on an accusation of rape.

Collage administrators are not investigators, you don't have an attorney and the people involved may care more about how the university looks than true justice.

If the evidence is there, then fine, but there is too much grey area, social and emotional impacts with these things to have severe consequences against the any student without a full, true and impartial investigation by real investigators.

Imagine getting kicked out of school for being accused of smoking weed in your room, or accused of having a beer in the dorms based on another students word, without any police investigation or real evidence?

Also why is it always assumed that the guy is 100% stone cold sober, hopped up on Viagra dragging some poor innocent girl into his den of lust. Plenty of hookups involve 2 drunk parties who are totally involved of things at the time, but may regret it to a larger/smaller extend the next day (STDs, Pregnancy, et cetera). Perhaps he is not likely to report it, while the female, being socially conditioned as a victim in this circumstance feels the need to?

I know that real true violence against women does happen, i know that there are some dudes who drug, drink et cetra women. However, it seems to me that society has gotten to the point where no matter if both parties are equally impaired the guy is at fault especially in conditions where there doesn't have to be a true investigation.
