Tuco is one of my favorite characters. That 2nd episode has me addicted.
2/12/2015 1:56:03 AM
It has been so long since I've seen him in BB, this is all I can think of when I hear Tuco:[Edited on February 12, 2015 at 8:17 AM. Reason : dsa][Edited on February 12, 2015 at 10:40 AM. Reason : too big]

I love when he says, "Look at that". I couldn't stop maniacally laughing when he was breaking their legs. Gilligan knows how to please the fans.

I'm pretty sure Dean Norris said he didn't want any part of Saul. But i'm sure his tune would change if the show becomes a hit.

Somebody get rid of that monster pic plz. It's really harshing my mellow.

If I've learned anything about Vince Gilligan, he won't let something that predictable happen in a series of his

a bit much to look forward to the final shot of a show that's only two episodes inand would it really be that awesome if you expected it?[Edited on February 12, 2015 at 10:14 PM. Reason : ^ exactly ]

I watched both episodes last night and loved it. Can't wait for more.

Tomorrow morning is looking like a great time to pull a Slippin' Jimmy
2/16/2015 8:39:11 PM
great ending
2/16/2015 11:31:33 PM
I feel like the editing in this show, much like Breaking Bad, is superb.
2/17/2015 1:06:25 PM
I wonder how often they'll give a flashback to pre-lawyer-fuckup-Jimmy
2/17/2015 5:32:28 PM
Maybe I missed something. So they did a flashback to Slippin' Jimmy? I don't recall it.
2/18/2015 8:43:49 AM
^^ yeah what's the point of that?
2/18/2015 9:15:17 AM
It was to show that he had promised his brother he would quit being a criminal which is probably impacting his decisions with his current dilemma. (I'm sure I could have worded it better)
2/18/2015 9:54:02 AM
As far as we know, he's been a completely law abiding citizen up until now. Even with the skateboard scammers -- he didn't want to get money out of the couple, he just wanted to guilt them into letting him represent them as a lawyer. A little shady, but he hasn't done anything illegal yet, and look where it has gotten him. Nobody takes him seriously and he is living in his tiny office in the back of a nail salon. So I guess a big part of the show will be his downfall from a moral high ground to a scumbag lawyer for crooks.[Edited on February 18, 2015 at 12:39 PM. Reason : ]

I think it also is showing that he doesn't want to get himself implicated in the whole illegal actions that his clients do but somehow he always gets drawn in. He doesn't want to.

2/19/2015 11:20:40 AM
^ yeah Chuck said something like "come on, tell me you're not pulling the Slippin Jimmy routine again" or something close to that

Loved the early flashback of him pulling a slipping jimmy. I'll roundhouse-kick you in the face, you butthole.

This episode was amazing. I LOVE the flashbacks and him conning people.

Loving this show. A rare spin-off worth watching.
2/25/2015 11:41:16 PM
So I heard a couple weeks ago that Better Call Saul (does anyone abbreviate it as BCS yet?) had the highest ratings of ANY series premiere in television history. Makes sense given how big BB was, but I found it interesting.
2/25/2015 11:48:54 PM
Another good one.

GIVE JONATHAN BANKS ALL OF THE AWARDS

That was a stellar performance.JB also makes a great drunk. Almost as good as Bobby Moynihan
3/9/2015 11:38:38 PM
Agreed, great episodeI caught the tarantula reference but was having trouble remembering the actual scene in Breaking Bad. I looked it up and it was during the train heist. The kid Todd killed was carrying it in a jar and Todd kept it.
3/10/2015 12:14:46 AM
I really don't think that meant anything at all and wasn't intended as that
3/10/2015 1:31:22 AM
I just caught up on all of my recorded episodes the other day. This is my favorite current show (that I watch) on TV right now. (there are one or two others that I look forward to as much.)
3/11/2015 11:06:30 AM
With this, the Americans & Justified, Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays are pretty great on TV right now. This episode was obviously the most similar to a Breaking Bad episode with how much darker it was than the Better Call Saul episodes that came before it and Jonathan Banks should absolutely submit this episode for the Emmy's.
3/11/2015 11:29:19 AM
Amazing episode.
3/11/2015 1:05:24 PM
pretty frustrated. I've missed the last two episodes and for whatever reason the AMC online full episodes thing keeps messing up my authentication and the site I usually stream stuff from's files are corrupted for those episodes.

3/13/2015 9:25:06 AM
Really? Other than a reveal on Mike I didn't think it was that awesome. Not BB quality for sure and barely on par with the other episodes of BCS. I get learning about Mike's past is great but nothing really captivated me.
3/15/2015 2:08:36 AM
i've enjoyed every episode, but this one was by far the best
3/15/2015 12:10:20 PM
I felt that this episode was Breaking Bad quality. Definitely captivated me
