Troof. I just wanted to throw out a counter to the "homebirth is wonderful, the hospital is just full of dead people" argument as a hospital is also full of medical professionals who dedicate their life to learning how to save patients lives, even expectant mothers and newborn babies.

Obviously I'm not reading OP, but if Wake County is buying children then I've got a can't fail business idea

That's not a home birth, that's an episode of I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant gone wrong.
