Seriously guys. It's Indiana.

It's hard to argue against Indiana being worthless. It's flat, windy, and boring. Indianapolis 500?South Dakota has Badlands N.P. it's got some good scenery at least.OP does need to explain his definition of worthless.
4/25/2014 9:18:58 AM
For some reason I had a 30min convo on this topic a few weeks ago. No one could think of anything decent about Indiana outside of sports related stuff.

Utah has some of the most beautiful areas of the country.
4/25/2014 9:40:36 AM
the answer is actually michigan, because detroit.
4/25/2014 10:29:14 AM
I agree with Rhode Island. Name something they are well known for without googling.

4/25/2014 10:45:24 AM
Go figure Texas 68%
4/25/2014 10:50:05 AM
well they have a point. texas is a pretty important part of the country.I'm surprised NC is as low as it is... although i guess there are a lot of counties with high poverty rates and living in the triangle isn't indicative of the state as a whole. [Edited on April 25, 2014 at 10:54 AM. Reason : ]

^^^^ It is an honor to work for the Rhode Island State Patrol. /Me, Myself, and Irene
4/25/2014 10:54:05 AM
NC can probably attribute their low percentage to the amount of assholes that moved here, but still drone on about how fucking great where they're from is. I'm looking at you western NY/PA.
4/25/2014 11:27:14 AM
I was surprised at how self-loathing Illinoisans apparently are
4/25/2014 11:36:20 AM
I think that map is fairly accurate except for SC being 5% better than NC. Explanation needed there.
4/25/2014 11:40:36 AM
Newport RI is nice to visit and the coast is prett great. Also some good bands have come out of Providence. [Edited on April 25, 2014 at 11:42 AM. Reason : T]

4/25/2014 11:44:25 AM
I was surprised to see SC rated higher myself than I realized it is probably full of hyper prideful country bumpkins who probably haven't left their own county in 5 years.

have you ever been to new mexico? one of the most beautiful places in the nation, the BEST food I have ever had (new mexican food it it's own genre. it's not mexican or tex-mex)
4/25/2014 11:47:52 PM
^Well we are talking about who we are going to vote off of the island here. The desert states out west aren't as pretty as everything east of them. It is on my bucket list to go to the International Balloon Fiesta though.
4/26/2014 12:49:07 AM
Santa Fe, NM is much prettier than Kinston, NC
4/26/2014 1:02:04 AM
Your definition of beautiful scenery is different from everybody else. I have probably spent about 1 month of my lifetime in New Mexico alltogether. The red rocks and deserts are beautiful in a lot of places. I would rather wake up to that everyday than a lot of other landscapes we have in America.
4/26/2014 1:21:17 AM
Kinston > Iowa
4/26/2014 3:02:44 AM
^^But I love the thick forests of the North, the beautiful coastlines along our oceans, and the open prairies filled with crops that cover the midwest. The sand and red clay in the desert is just ok.[Edited on April 26, 2014 at 11:16 AM. Reason : .]

Out of the states I've been to: OhioOut of all 50: still Ohio
4/26/2014 11:55:40 AM
^That's a pretty good choice too. I have family that lives there. I don't think they are staying when my uncle retires. His job has taken him to Iowa (from there), Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, and Ohio through the years. It sounds like Ohio is their least favorite place out of all of them.[Edited on April 26, 2014 at 12:19 PM. Reason : .]
4/26/2014 12:18:41 PM
I'm changing my answer. It's ohio.
4/26/2014 12:43:02 PM
It's definitely either South Carolina or Ohio
4/26/2014 12:48:30 PM
Ohio blows cock and balls.
4/26/2014 4:45:03 PM
It is Mississippi.
4/26/2014 6:31:55 PM
Well at least Ohio as some worthiness as far as contributing to the economy of America as much as the weather and cities (i.e. Cleveland) suck. Let's vote off Mississippi.
4/27/2014 1:16:33 AM
State of confusion sucks a lot
4/27/2014 8:54:28 AM
4/27/2014 11:14:42 AM
^I've been to Yosemite National Park. The forests are beautiful and San Francisco is beautiful too. Those southwestern deserts aren't exciting to me.
4/27/2014 1:08:27 PM
it's a proven fact that Utah is the most beautiful, most diverse state in the Unionthat's all I have to add for now
4/27/2014 1:11:33 PM
I've never been impressed by Maryland and/or Delaware.
4/27/2014 1:16:46 PM
^^I do like the mountains behind the BYU football stadium though.
4/27/2014 1:24:36 PM
Oklahoma. all they gots is tornados
4/27/2014 1:33:54 PM
and injuns.

My family is from RI. It's no different from the rest of New England and Providence is a cool city. You have Brown, plus RI School of Design. There's lots of cool architecture, a nice downtown riverwalk and mall, and it's much more affordable than Boston. There's also beaches and good diving and fishing if you don't mind cold weather. Lobsters, crabs, clams, and other shellfish are plentiful. Newport is a good place to take friends to impress them with the mansions and resorts. Not my fault no one here has bothered to learn about it. If you get bored, the commuter train for Boston runs to Providence. You can be downtown for a Red Sox game in an hour. The Bruins and Sox have their highest minor league teams in Providence as well. I'm sure the low satisfaction is largely because of the unemployment level. It was very dependent on manufacturing jobs in areas like textiles, as well as cyclical industries like fishing. Bad times can be quite bad.Famous figures: Motherfucking HP Lovecraft. Enough said. Does Kansas or the Dakotas offer any of that?[Edited on April 28, 2014 at 1:50 PM. Reason : x]
4/28/2014 1:47:15 PM
Montana tops the list? Didn't see that coming.
4/28/2014 2:04:52 PM
^^Are you the guy that walked past me in Newport in May of 2010 and said, "HEY! GO WOLFPACK?" someone said that to me when I was up there on vacation.
4/28/2014 11:34:00 PM
I have to say, the southwest isn't bad, but the Northeast is way more beautiful. The views of the forests turning colors is way nicer than all of the red rock in Utah and New Mexico. The rock shapes are cool though.
5/17/2014 2:12:50 AM
again, you are wrong, but ok.

^^Aerial America New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine were breathtaking. The country out in Massachusetts, and New York is beautiful too.
