fun times watching the liberals in here tripping over themselves to bash our country.

I would argue it does more harm to the country to allow/encourage this.It makes us look worse and it only encourages more hatred and bloodlust to our enemies along with, you know, not being proven to even work..Really though, we need to get back to more important things... like the war on Christmas.[Edited on December 17, 2014 at 11:10 AM. Torture, literally by definition, is a heinous act. It's why Bush tried to rebrand it "enhanced interrogation", because to call it torture means they know it was excessive and born of viciousness and brutality. As a civilized country, we're supposed to rise above emotion and act with justness and fairness. If you think we should indulge our fear and anger and hatred to inflict unnecessary suffering and pain, you are literally no better than Al-Qaeda or the Taliban or any suicide bomber.

There's really nothing I can say to sway the bleeding hearts in here. Thankfully you're not the ones in charge of our intelligence operations.

jeez, so you are supporting torture. and you actually think it produces credible intelligence.[Edited on December 17, 2014 at 4:37 PM. Reason : ]

No rather I'm saying I leave it to the experts.
12/18/2014 9:45:52 AM
"experts"
12/18/2014 9:49:51 AM
^^haha, you ignore the experts when it comes to climate change, but now claim you want to listen to "the experts" on torture? You realize most "experts" are actually against torture?Even if you assume that torture did work, which no evidence exists suggest it does (it's just gratuitous hate and malice-- similar to cutting off a head or suicide bombing a school), that still doesn't justify it, anymore than stopping terrorism should justify mass spying, warrantless searches, etc..
12/18/2014 10:21:55 AM
the "experts" who are against torture have an agenda and are adjusting data-TKE-Teg
12/18/2014 10:46:13 AM
Most of the experts defending torture on TV are the same folks CONVINCED that Iraq was manufacturing WMDs
12/18/2014 11:13:23 AM
who are the torture "experts" anyways?
12/18/2014 12:14:09 PM
^^^^I haven't read the whole report which I have no problem admitting. And I was pretty clear that I was referring to intelligence experts, of which interrogation is part. But dragging the beaten horse of AGW into this? lol. Good one. I'll still be laughing 18 years from now, when the earth still hasn't increased in temp, and after all governments have abandoned any attempt to reduce their CO2 emissions.[Edited on December 18, 2014 at 12:53 PM. guys, it's pretty cold here today so it's okay to feed people in their asshole

dragging your position on agw into this is pretty relevant. you disagree with the vast, vast, vast majority of experts (scientists) on that issue, but defer to the "experts" here? are you certrain you'll still be laughing in 18 years? you sound very confident about something that you don't have the intelligence to know (and I don't mean that you're stupid, i mean that i'm confident you haven't read all the information that's available, done the research, etc. to really have an informed opinion)[Edited on December 18, 2014 at 2:29 PM.
