It's kind of a no-brainer for NBC. It's almost enitrely funded by foreign production so there's no expense for them to air it. Still, glad to know it's coming back!(I was behind a few eps, but caught up) I was pretty sure that Will didn't kill Freddie, but now I just wonder about the corpse he burned (I like how that scene screamed Red Dragon)...who the hell was that? Not sure how I feel about this whole Will's baby scenario either...
5/14/2014 11:20:28 AM
I am assuming based on the reveal that Jack is involved that he provided Will with the body, helped stage the scene. Fatherhood has been one of the themes since very early on, I think the baby thing was just used to both advance the Verger storyline while also Hannibal seeing if he could push Will into killing Mason. I'm interested to see what Hannibals counterplay to Wills trap is. He claimed to know so much about the meat that was supposed to be Freddie, was he just saying that to make Will think he believed him, or was he actually tricked? Between that and the scene with the gunpowder he clearly knows something is up.

To be fair, they posted before the last episodeIn any case, I thought the face mutilation was well done (more disturbing than outright gore)[Edited on May 19, 2014 at 9:03 PM. Reason : "I'm full of myself!" ]

^^haha, yeah. I'm full of myself. Margo's surgery to remove her uterus was a done deal after the episode on the 9th.Michael Pitt is awesome in that role.

Holy Shit the Finale was fucking cray cray! Can't wait for season 3.
5/24/2014 4:12:07 PM
Holy Fuck season finale! God I cannot wait for season 3. I'm pretty sure this is now my 2nd favorite show, after GoT.
5/27/2014 1:30:02 PM
I concur with the last two posts.Need mo'Hannibal.
5/27/2014 3:53:56 PM
Side note: does anyone know of any service that currently streams episodes of Hannibal? (legally). I finally convinced a buddy of mine to watch and when he went to Hulu+ to start watching he found that they had taken down all episodes save the last 3.Any suggestions?
5/28/2014 8:46:53 AM

given the shows track record, I will not believe anyone we saw "die" in the finale is actually dead until they show them doing an autopsy on their entire, non burnt, corpse[Edited on May 29, 2014 at 9:13 PM. Reason : $$$]
5/29/2014 9:10:46 PM
Well for sure Will isn't going to die. I would think Jack won't. And I'm inclined to believe they won't let Alana die because they wouldn't want to set a precedent for only killing off female characters. So I think the only one who will have actually died is Abigail.Which is unfortunate, because as intense as this show is it would be better if there were a little bit higher stakes for the core characters. I'm assuming Chilton didn't die because he was never confirmed dead, so at this point really the only person to die in two seasons was Beverly right? And Abigail if she actually is dead this time around.
5/29/2014 10:21:35 PM
Wasn't Chilton shot in the head? Could have sworn his brains splattered the wall behind him.
5/30/2014 9:23:34 AM
I could see my way clear to believing that both Jack and Alana die alongside Abigail (totally surprised to see her anyway, well played writers). Judging by the short scene after the credits it looks like a change of location for the show is likely, so having Will chase after Hannibal after he recovers would reduce a need for any of the other big players to live through that ordeal.

Finally saw the finale. Mind blowing finale. This show is so well done. The next day I'm still
6/2/2014 2:23:13 PM
I finally got around to start watching this again and binge watched the last 7 or 8 episodes over the last few days. Holy shit at the finale though. I really enjoyed the first season, but this could be my favorite show on TV after Mad Men ends. Never been that clueless about what was going to happen in a finale before.

Started watching the first season the other day. Love it so far. Almost finished. But there are some things that go down that just leave me all, "wtf? I'm not suspending disbelief on that one at all." And they pull me out of the story
9/17/2014 4:54:10 PM
sounds like a personal problem

lolI mean, I'll buy that the girl can skip out, grab a roundtrip flight from Dulles to Minneapolis in the middle of the night, and somehow get a ride out to the middle of nowhere to dig up a bodyBut I draw the line at a chick who can't see faces, looks like a demon and is covered in blood, being able to find out where Will lives and then being able to walk there in the middle of the night
9/18/2014 2:45:25 PM
yeah, that shit was terrifying though so whatever
9/18/2014 3:55:32 PM
Yea, it was pretty epic.Just started season 2 last night.
9/18/2014 4:18:08 PM
Can't read this thread because I'm midway through season 2. I've been getting this shit cut straight on Blu-ray. Such a gorgeous show and easily the best since Breaking Bad. The visuals, music, ties are all out of this world. How this on network TV I'm not sure. NBC at least roosts gems like this and Community. It's morbid art. The Damien Hirst tribute was so stirring.[spoiler]Gideon taking organs out of Chilton was one of the freakier things. That is almost on par with Audition in the eye covering territory.[/spoiler][Edited on October 5, 2014 at 10:27 PM. Reason : spoils]

Anyone aware of any streaming services that are offering seasons 1 & 2? (and I'm not referring to watching it pirated on some website, I'd prefer to do this legally) Since season 3 has been pushed off to the summer I wouldn't mind rewatching the series up to this point.Side note, looks like Zachary Quinto is going to be guest staring at some point.[Edited on March 5, 2015 at 3:47 PM. Here is the trailer for season 3 - if you haven't seen season 2 yet, don't watch this.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kN7fhWnhdM
3/6/2015 9:48:15 AM
yeah, Amazon Prime has exclusive rights to this one.
3/6/2015 10:18:14 AM
Anyone else bummed that Michael Pitt won't be back?Anyone else think they finally, secretly got Bowie for S3?
3/6/2015 2:16:28 PM
Every episode of Hannibal is a work of art (visually and audibly). Looking forward to watching another season of this.
6/5/2015 3:59:25 PM
NBC just cancelled it following this season. Sounds like there is some hope that it gets picked up by someone (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) following S3.
6/22/2015 5:31:22 PM
GD it. Best show on network television. Figures that not enough people watch it. I have a very hard time seeing this show not getting picked up by some other media outlet. It's such a masterpiece.
6/22/2015 7:08:10 PM
lol @ announcing the cancellation 3 episodes into the seasonNBC is full of fucktards. They gonna replace it with reruns of "The Slap"?[Edited on June 22, 2015 at 7:52 PM. Reason : ]
6/22/2015 7:50:30 PM
I guess the plus side is that announcing it 3 episodes into this season gives them more time to find a new network/streaming service. It's currently up on Amazon Prime IIRC. Feel like that'd be the best guess for where this ends up.
6/22/2015 9:11:15 PM
^ ThisI'm missing out on this season, since I cut the cord and apparently Hulu Plus doesn't stream it for some reason.
6/23/2015 8:04:59 AM
antenna = local nbc
6/23/2015 8:15:27 AM
True, though I don't remember the last time I watched live TV. I forget that's still a thing sometimes
6/23/2015 8:28:39 AM
hulu doesn't stream it because Amazon Prime has official rights to all Hannibal rebroadcasts. Have you checked nbc.com, i think you can watch them there.
6/23/2015 8:33:07 AM
i watched it last night on hulu
6/24/2015 8:38:11 AM
really? awesome. maybe it's just season 1,2 that are exclusive to AP.
