I would do A.

I would probably intend to do A but then forget about them until I unintentionally wound up doing B.

What if Rack Room has been lying low all these years in order to reemerge to test the morals of unsuspecting gift-card recipients? They're just waiting to see what you will do. Maybe if you return them, they'll show up at your door with $1 million or something.

For anyone who cares, I went back to Rack Room today and went with.......... Option A. I did the right thingThe mid 20s guy behind the counter couldn't believe I was returning the shoes. While I was telling him the story about the extra pair of shoes he was already looking at the receipt like I was making a return, so there's no doubt in my mind that I could've got a new pair of shoes out of him, but alas, hopefully the karma gods will be smiling down on me now. I'm up for a promotion at work, so maybe this will help me land it.Anyways, I feel good about what I did, but I probably would feel equally as good if I had a second new pair of shoes in my rotation. So you be the judge /thread?

Karma isn't real. You just screwed yourself out of a free pair of shoes. Schmuck.
