You went? Nice. Even though the Sox kicked our ass 3/4, I did lol at the exiting crowd shot after Olt's grand slam.

6/28/2014 1:22:14 AM
Ahah why did I even write that? I don't think the Sox even played on the 5th
6/28/2014 3:01:05 AM
6/28/2014 6:41:54 AM
Eric Surkamp looking good out there. Recorded a hold the past two games
6/29/2014 4:14:36 PM
Ah, now that remember, Rodon. So why did YOU post Carlos? Did he sign?
6/29/2014 8:43:21 PM
hell no he hasn'tScott Boras is being a bitch
6/29/2014 9:48:06 PM
Eric Surkamp was one of the few bright spots when going to see the Knights play.
6/30/2014 7:53:27 AM
congrats to Abreu and Alexeiand Chris Sale got screwed
7/6/2014 10:25:52 PM
Yeah he did.Rodon only has til next Friday to sign. If he doesn't (for some insane reason), I'm guessing he's back at State for another year?
7/7/2014 8:32:43 AM
he signed with an agent. that should eliminate his amateur status, right?
7/7/2014 7:12:25 PM
7/10/2014 8:17:26 AM
well thank the Lord
7/10/2014 8:19:48 AM
i need to track down one of those Sox-like Wolfpack jerseys to wear when i see him pitch in Charlotte.
7/10/2014 8:20:44 AM
Awesome, can't wait till he makes his first start with the Dash!
7/10/2014 8:38:04 AM
^^
7/10/2014 9:18:30 AM
60 and 150 for Abreu this season?
7/12/2014 7:18:29 PM
I'm guessing 48 and 130
7/12/2014 8:31:35 PM
I'll take 45/110 but would love 50/120. Just don't get into a pattern of getting hurt.
7/13/2014 9:46:56 AM
Rookie Records: McGwire 49 HR and Ted Williams 145 RBII'd like Abreu to break one of the two
7/13/2014 10:00:14 AM
Can't wait til he fails his first drug test
7/13/2014 12:46:21 PM
7/15/2014 2:04:11 PM
ROY and MVP
7/29/2014 9:52:51 PM
and PEDs
7/29/2014 10:44:32 PM
I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about baseball. Help me to understandIs it considered good when a player leads the majors in HR, RBI, SLG, and OPS?
7/29/2014 10:55:08 PM
yes
7/30/2014 1:09:35 AM
^^eh, kindanot a great pic, but got to see Sale (kinda) in Minny this weekend! Have now seen the Sox in Minny twice as many times as Chicago (2:1 but still)!
7/30/2014 10:41:28 PM
nice!let's discuss who Abreu's main competition is for AL MVP. I can only imagine he's in everyone's top-5 right now
8/1/2014 10:21:35 AM
I'd say Trout is the front runner. Your boy certainly deserves a few votes.
8/1/2014 11:30:16 AM
has a rookie ever won the Triple Crown before?
8/2/2014 12:58:28 AM
nope.I also wouldnt get your hopes up on the BA part of it.
8/2/2014 1:52:58 PM
during his current 21-game hit streak, he's improved his batting average from .276 to .310
8/2/2014 2:02:10 PM
Not a knock on him, just his supporting cast
8/2/2014 10:45:56 PM
How will his supporting cast affect his BA??
8/2/2014 11:37:29 PM
Sigh
8/2/2014 11:47:06 PM
What am I missing here tke, how do teammates affect batting average??
8/4/2014 9:20:58 PM
I've been struggling with that one tootough to understand how playing on the 4th best offensive team in the AL could be a detriment to Abreu's chances of batting in the .320's or .330's
8/4/2014 10:03:22 PM
Even if he was playing with 8 little leaguers, I don't see how they would affect his BA very much. I guess it is slightly easier to get hits with runners on base bc of fielder's holding on a runner? Seems that would be a pretty minor effect though, if at all.
8/4/2014 10:14:56 PM
I was saying he has very little protection in the lineup and that whatever player that hits in front of him will see a ton of fastballs.[Edited on August 4, 2014 at 11:32 PM. Reason : M]
8/4/2014 11:22:18 PM
the player hitting in front of him happens to be the best offensive shortstop in the ALI think Abreu will be alright
8/4/2014 11:28:56 PM
Double sigh....why do you think that is? Abreu is hitting behind him. He is seeing a ton of fastballs which plays to his free swinging ways. Alexei's obp is still shit, but a player hitting before a player does not protect them. Its the players after...viciedo and dunn......why even give abreu anything to hit? Also a side note, what a rapid descent the SS position has made from a hitting perspective when alexei ramirez is the best hitting ss in the AL[Edited on August 4, 2014 at 11:36 PM. Reason : .]
8/4/2014 11:32:26 PM
so you'd pitch around Abreu in order to face one of the best power hitters of the past 20 years?
8/4/2014 11:35:44 PM
A guy that has hit .219, .204, .159, and .223 the last 4 years.....absolutely....the guy cant even draw walks like he used toThats like saying "youre telling me you'd rather walk him and pitch to the best power hitter of all time if Babe ruth was hitting behind him in 2014?" Yes id rather pitch to a dead babe ruth[Edited on August 4, 2014 at 11:41 PM. Reason : .]
8/4/2014 11:39:12 PM
Dunn is still drawing plenty of walksAL ranks: 1st in 2012, t-7th in 2013, and t-3rd in 2014
8/4/2014 11:45:07 PM
He used to average about 1 walk per every 5.25 plate appearances. He has been between 7-9 per for 5 out of the last 6 years. Thats why his batting average is even worse now. What used to be walks are now popups and groundouts
