Announcers are so dumb. Turner just gets a breakaway steal, and she is talking about how he needs to shoot more 3s. A breakaway steal is a far, far more valuable play. He needs to get more of those.

I find this lady announcer annoying. For the first 5 minutes of the game it sounded like she was a sideline reporter giving tidbits except she was doing it every 15 seconds instead twice a half.

I guess it's possible this is one of her first games announcing and she'll get better.

granted Vandy (and the rest of our bigs) did not look good at all against Jennings, but dude averages 12 points and 8 rebounds per game while shooting 59%. we allowed him to get 18 (on 47% shooting) and 8 boards, which isn't THAT far above what he's been doing. he put up 16 and 8 against Arizona, which has a far better team than we do

Tyler only got 5 minutes of playing time in this game. I'm not saying that isn't right, because Cat looked great all game. It's kind of telling of who is playing the best ball right now.

Freeman is a beast on the boards. He had 13. If he bulks up, he'd be about the same make up as Howell. He's looking like a great late recruit grab for us.

It has EVERYTHING to do with defense. Tyler is a really slow and poor defender. That is why Cat is playing. If it is a slower opponent I dont doubt Tyler plays quite a bit.

Cat just has more rapport with the players ATM and is much better on the ball. Tyler will not start again unless Cat gets hurt.

He really wasn't aggressive until he had to be. He could take over when he wanted to, but he never seemed to force the issue unless the shot clock was winding down or we were getting killed.

It's one of the reasons Zo was so frustrating. You knew he had the talent and the bball IQ to dominate; he just played passively way too much.

Looked ok at times today but we got worked pretty hard inside. We need to either find someone who can be a constant three point threat or get more movement on offense because all we did 75% of the time today was stand around passing the ball back and forth. If we don't fix that everyone is just gonna pack the zone in on us and it will end poorly against decent teams. I know its just LBS but the energy seemed to be lacking quite a bit as well.

Freeman showing up today defensively really boosted my confidence in this team. He will be crucial to our conference success b/c we all know Vandy will get into foul trouble.
