Consistently good food and service, nice staff, rooftop option when weather allows, tons of tv's. I love this place, and I love their wings. If you don't mind a little heat, order the sauce mixed (extra hot mixed with garlic). 10/10. Everytime.

Its actually a friend of mine from out of town who likes the chicken cake sandwich so much. It is good though

I can't believe nobody has mentioned their fried portobello mushrooms. They are pretty darn tasty. I'll have to try their wings next time I go there after reading this thread. Their rooftop is pretty much the big draw for me. Its the best bar atmosphere outside of downtown Raleigh. It does suck how crowded it gets but if you get a table and have a party of 4 - 6 it can be a pretty cool place to hang out.

Lynnwood also has the best fries mozzarella sticks... They are actually made in house.

Yes Blinco's used to be a Houlihan's, then a Sam Snead's (and Blinco's kept the golf-themed carpet...ugh). But before all of that it was the first Olive Garden in Raleigh. This was back in the late 80's.Anyone remember when the old Lynnwood spot used to be a Lily's Pizza for about a year? And it was half the size that it was before they moved?

I remember. I like how they brought over a lot of the memorabilia from the old place into their new spot.Their buffalo chicken dip is pretty quality too. And whatever seasoning salt they put on their tortilla chips is like crack.

that tends to happen with these places. it usually sits in a big vat and the grease pools at the top.

Been ordering it pretty often for the past couple months and never had that problem. I've heard that they have a new head chef type person in the back...

^^Fair enough, I haven't really been going up there for a while, but that was one of the only things i've ordered that I was strongly disappointed in. Maybe they've improved it.^I guess b/c the kitchen is downstairs and its too much for the servers to keep up with....unless that has changed in the past few months[Edited on September 4, 2013 at 11:46 AM. Reason : Will probably at least spend a couple Sundays up there for football this season either way]

You can get wings, just not the wings special on the rooftop
9/4/2013 1:04:29 PM
Do what now? That's stupid.
9/4/2013 1:06:33 PM
man i love and miss Lynwood Grill so much. I liked it much better when it was the little place across the street though. regardless...i was excited when they opened the new place. i like the idea of roof top bars. it ended up sucking though because it was so crowded all the time. it's nice if you get there early, on a cool fall day with not many people around.
9/4/2013 1:08:18 PM
i can see why they don't extend the offer to the rooftop. the place is already crowded enough as it is. if you want the wings special then just sit downstairs.
9/4/2013 1:13:51 PM
You know what I love and miss?I just realized it today actually, and there's not enough women or booze in the world to fill this Chi-Chi's sized whole in my heart.
