Sorry Robster for accepting so late. My work schedule is chaotic and I forgot to check my yahoo mail for the past couple days.

So who the hell is the consensus top pick this year? Peterson? I have not really given it much thought so far.

unfortunately, at #1 you dont get to play for an upside pick. You HAVE to pick peterson because:
a) he was the best player last year.
b) there are no reasons that make him unlikely to repeat
c) there is no sure thing golden boy coming in behind him

Wish I had the 7/8 pick but 4 ain't terrible either. At 4 I can look more at potential up and comers who have a solid floor on their performance expectation for the year, so its not a terrible pick.

Anyone want to tip their cap? I got #1 pick and I am taking AP

...oh and then after that, the 24th best player available

number 2 might as well do the same ... and then number 3 ... and so on

Shoulda made the draft tomorrow night instead of a week from tomorrow.

Does anyone else think we should modify the point system (include things like PPR and maybe add IDP)? I get tired of the same old points system year after year. Do they even allow point system modifications on these free leagues?? I really like having IDP if nothing else.

Now that draft order is set, I don't think we should change anything. We could definitely consider it for next year and vote on the points system.

I'm not sure how draft order would really be impacted by a point system change now as long as a majority of the other players are cool with it. PPR really just impacts that 2nd and 3rd tier of WRs as it's not like someone is taking Welker over Megatron just because PPR is available. Adding IDP makes no difference at all in terms of the draft as they'll be last round picks anyway. Oh well you are the commish and no one else has shown any support for changing anything so silence is consent.

Looking at my team and I am wondering what the fuck I was thinking. I hate my team already. Trying to get the baby to sleep while doing a fantasy draft is a bad idea I over drafted like 5 or 6 guys.

same here. I dislike my team. Double drafted Mike Wallace and Darren Sproles by accident/autopick. I dont have any RB depth and there were no RBs left so Sproles might work out

I'm feeling ok with my picks ... surprised Julio made it to the 3rd round, so very happy to have picked him up ... and RGIII in the 9th round or whatever I think was a risk worth taking.

Here's to hoping that both McCoy and Lynch go down early this season, and Brown and Michael replace them with heavy loads - Oh and that Cameron emerges as a great TE as well as Geno Smith turning things around in NY.

In other words, Im very weak at TE and on my bench - a bunch of prayers - what was I thinking

Good luck with that. There was no reason to waste a draft pick on Geno Smith. Dude is garbage right now.

^^ hopefully by the time RGIII ends his career for good, Smith or Schaub will have emerged as top 10 QBs that I can rely on ... not asking for them to become the #1 guy ... just one of them in the top 6 is where I am hedging my bets right now.

Obviously, with the last pick being Geno Smith, he's the first to go if I get a good jump on someone else breaking out of the pack, but realistically, the guys left at the end of the draft were all garbage ... so at least he offers some potential.

^ Expecting either Smith or Schaub to be a top-10 QB is hoping for a lot. I still like your team better than mine. I reached too soon for Brady when I could have just waited and got RGIII four rounds later. Oh well. Maybe McFadden will get hurt and Brown will take David Wilson's starting gig. If so my team looks a lot better...

well i will follow everyone's lead:

Starters
QB Scam Newton, Carolina Pnathers
RB LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles
RB Steven Jackson, Atlanta Falcons
WR Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
WR Danny Amendola, New England Patriots
TE Martellus Bennett, Chicago Bears
FLEX Chris Ivory, New York Jets
D/ST Packers
K Sebastian Janikowski, Oakland Raiders

Bench
WR Tavon Austin, St Louis Rams
WR TY Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
WR Michael Floyd, Arizona Cardinals
RB Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills
RB Bernard Pierce, Baltimore Ravens
RB Isaac Redman, Pittsburgh Steelers
OPEN SPOT BECAUSE IT AUTODRAFTED A SECOND KICKER FUCK YOU ESPN

I like my starters a lot (besides ivory. i was going to draft antonio brown in round 6, but oh well). I'm hoping my bench RBs can be TD vultures when i need them.

I guess I'm ok with Newton as QB. He gets fantasy points, even though he isn't ever going to be an elite NFL QB. WHATEVS

Not a fan of my team either. Don't really know why. The first 8 picks went way quicker than I imagined causing me to autodraft Morris (would have went with McCoy) then panicked and went Rodgers on wrap around pick. Meh. Open for trades.

I appreciate the offer and all, but if I wanted Golden Tate instead of Lamar Miller, don't you think I would have drafted him instead of Lamar Miller in Round 4 (40th overall)? Tate went 109th overall
