Yeah Raleigh always wins best city for opening new businesses namely restaurants because there are none.

And yes I say "city" because it meets the requirements of being a city by having large amounts of people, universities but when ti comes to the entertainment options of a real city it has virtually none.

Its like how 3rd world countries that have just come out of the stone age are the best countries to _____ in.

Raleigh is ripe for someone to come in with a dream and a delicious buscuit recipe. I don't think anyone in the city even sells buscuits.

I always agree with this thread whenever it is made. Bojangles and their sweet tea are both average, at best

Seattle is actually in a rain shadow and doesn't rain nearly that much. Its just a myth. The weather is great overall because its never really over 80 or freezing on average pretty nice all year.

Except raleigh is on the list for its boring factor. Things like little crime, little traffic, cheap housing, good public school system. (you know, all the things that come with nothingness and are great if you're 40+ with 5 kids a minivan and soccer practice on saturdays)

I don't even understand what that argument means, but I assume you have evidence to back it up.

Anyway, Raleigh is the most gas guzzling city in the US, so that is pretty awesome.

What do you want out of nightlife? Highroller wine lounges or skanky underage dance clubs?

Theres no debating that its a city. I just said "city" because it doesn't have anywhere near the entertainment and dining services that any other large city would have.

Pyongyang is also a city.

I'ma call shenanigans on that. though the area has a lot of people leaving WAY outside their means.

As for what I want out of nightlife, while the restaurants are pretty good, there's nothing in the way of dance clubs or bars for people with jobs. it's like going out and having to choose between the goat and the pour house every night, only no one good is playing at the pour house.
