just since we're near the top of a page, i'd say 5 of my favorite bands are

- Rolling Stones
- Led Zeppelin
- Alice in Chains
- The Beatles
- Guns n Roses

i like plenty of music better, but those are all "bands" who have multiple good albums

Yeah, there are plenty of threads to rail on vinylbandit's taste, but this isn't one of them.

I've always wanted to make an alias, looking for a man who shares my interest in Pet Sounds and hockey.

I do have a hard-on for Pet Sounds. I own no less than ten copies of it.

With that said, Wild Honey is probably my favorite Beach Boys album.

I will add The Band to this thread. Those Canadians just have so much soul.

Also, kinda embarrassing, but Creedence Clearwater Revival is still far and away my favorite band.

^^^I really tried to come up with a witty response to this. I got nothing.

I don't care much for the Band anyway, but it bears repeating that Levon wasn't Canadian.

Someone else mentioned him on page 1. I'm also not the first to mention solo artists in general. Pick your bone elsewhere.

I don't think I could make such a list. I can say that my top 5 metal bands are probably all influenced by electric wizard or darkthrone.

Sounds like 80's hair metal which is something more likely to be played on 96 Rock than BTBAM.

But I like 80's hair metal

oh okay. It is not one of my favorites but it was one of the only one I had on vinyl. It was sold as a package with the CD. I have these on the side:

I only have Kill Em All on Cassette, that is why it is not up there.
