i'm trying to curb my craft cellar buying. like i posted earlier, that's always harder in the fall and winter when my favorite big stouts are release. but at home i usually have a 6-pack of Smithwicks and that'll last me a week. when i go out i'll split a few bottles with some friends or limit myself to a few pints. especially if i'm going to be anywhere I have to drive. and I can't tell you the last time i've had a liquor drink.
3/18/2013 10:24:26 AM
I hardly ever drink at home. Can't remember the last time I did that...probably 3-4 weeks ago.
3/18/2013 10:27:13 AM

i see people sometimes when they get on planes, before they are even in a seat, they are asking the flight attendant for drink, and they need it right now, those things cost $texasStep 1: admitting you have a problemStep 2: you can go 2 hours without a drink, believe it or not
3/18/2013 10:42:49 AM
All I know is I probably spend more on booze than anything else. Some people have problems flying that are easily solved by gettin sauced. Some people love getting sauced whenever possible but don't 'need' it. I am one of those people. I love drinking, but I regularly go 2-3 weeks without drinking if I'm really busy or focused on something 'important'.I'm Krallum and I approved this message.[Edited on March 18, 2013 at 10:46 AM. 3/18/2013 10:44:23 AM
ok, dont drink from the time you get to airport till you leave the otherso avg of 3.5 hours, still not impossible

$50 to $150 per monthI really only drink wine or sake when I go out... 2 glasses of wine + tip is easily $15 to $30 if you miss Happy Hour.

average of 8 glasses of wine (at home) per week, so 2 bottles...i don't buy super expensive wine, so it's usually something from TJ's that's $6-7 and so that's $13average of 4-5 beers per week out at $4/pint, so let's go with $20i don't know, $35/week? over the course of a month, it's probably closer to $120 total[Edited on March 18, 2013 at 12:50 PM. In college I was spending between $5-800 a month on booze. Now I spend $20-40 a month. Not much of a drinker anymore.Maybe twice a year will I get totally trashed though.

3/19/2013 10:56:57 AM
I drink pretty much every night...but probably only get drunk once or twice per month.
3/19/2013 10:59:16 AM
Its usually not intentional. I mean I almost always have like 1 beer at band practice which is 2x a week minimum but I consider that like other people consider a beer with dinner to not really be drinkingI'm Krallum and I approved this message.

Spent $3,200 at the bars last month credit card alone. No idea how much more in cash. Cutting back this month. Luckily I avoided the strip clubs all bill period or that could've been ugly.

no budget I just get it when it runs out. $31 for that 1/2 gal jim for the house. Just depends on work and if I go out for other $$. I think the $142 at Ham's was the most for one night thus far . I will try to total it up next month.
5/29/2014 7:49:24 PM
According to my credit card statements, my highest bar tab ever was only $188. I don't how much of that is tip. There were no dudes present, and I had to buy drinks for another woman, too. I also bought her lap dances with cash--I took out $300 at the ATM and left with breakfast money.I don't know how you guys do it.
5/29/2014 8:42:44 PM
For buying beer and liquor for the house...maybe $30-40 a month. Some months less, some more. For going out to bars and such, it fluctuates wildly. For this month, probably $25 or so. Didn't go out much this month.Although on second thought...I'd hardly call it a budget. I usually just pick up beer/liquor when I run out or know I'll be entertaining guests or whatever. Almost zero at this point. I have booze in the house, but I hardly ever drink anymore since I live by myself. I've got 3 left in a 6-pack of Sweet Josie in my fridge that I bout back in April. I do drink more when the weather is warm though, so now that it's nice I may actually crack open a beer on the patio now and then.
