I'm flying down from Philly with my fiancee for the weekend. First home game for me in years (went to the game against Vandy in Jersey laat year). This will be her first State basketball game. Her first State football game was at Maryland this year. Hopefully she brings some of that good luck we had in that game with her. I will be bringing the noise from the upper deck.

I think the past two games have really exposed how shitty our defense on the interior is (even more so than we realized) and UNC will exploit that with McAdoo and their other 3 big men. Booker and Thomas both play back to the basket more than McAdoo, but given that CJL and Rich just do not know how to guard or provide help on D, it's going to lead to UNC shooting a lot of high percentage shots. Plus with Bullock on fire right now, he'll probably light us up for at least 5 3s making matters worse.

My only hope is that we come out with a lot of energy (ala the Duke game) and play well since its a home game, but I just anticipate more foul trouble as the refs will do their UNC bias thing. Hopefully we'll be super efficient on offense and maybe create a few turnovers since UNC is prone to that and it'll lead to easy baskets for us. I think we'll keep it close, but ultimately come out with a loss.

with our recent play, i am not as pumped up as i was at the beginning of the season. We're playing worse & UNC* is playing better.

But like almost every game we will play to the level and hopefully have a chance to win like the last 3 or so games.
