I have a triple espresso from the Starbucks drive thru every morning, a couple cups of brewed coffee throughout the mid morning, maybe one more mid afternoon, and sometimes i make a couple cups after dinner. On weekend halfs maybe half as much.

about 20 oz every other day. It's usually not for the caffeine but just because it's nice to have something warm to drink in the mornings. It's also nice to have a cup after a big meal.

Usually just my large mug in the morning during the work week (it's about a cup and a half). Only very occasionally on the weekends unless I'm using my espresso machine.

also one of the reasons why I love coffee. I have a difficult time moving

One 12oz in the a.m and try to do half decaf in afternoon.

I fill the coffee pot up to about 8 cups. Black.

on a lazy Sunday or Saturday, I enjoy making a full pot of coffee and just leave it on, drinking it throughout the day.

I think that's wonderful. Coffee is basically the greatest addiction ever. And you can now save your grinds for the worst addiction ever:

i have a cup (6oz) of moka pot espresso every morning and then a cup of decaf in the afternoon

a lot of people don't realize that espresso (traditional or moka pot) is comparatively low in caffeine

Coffee has started to kill my stomach, which sucks cuz I really like the flavor. So I just put espresso powder in other stuff and drink coffee porter when I have the chance. But now I get almost all of my daily caffeine from diet coke.

I bought a bag of light roast to try cold brewing, but I forgot to grind it. derp.

yeah, i'm planning on going to a kitchen store later this week. stuff doesn't stay open in the evening until thursday and friday, 'round here. Anyone grind their own coffee and got a recommendation for a sturdy, basic one that does the job?

Still 2-3 in the morning, and maybe one more after lunch if I'm at work. It can get too quiet in the office, and I'm to the point if it's too quiet I will fall asleep

1.5 to 2 liters per day. French press right now, though the method varies sometimes. I try to end by mid-afternoon or I blame not being able to sleep on it.

i drink 1 or 2 of these every morning i work. mainly because it's free and it helps me keep my mouth shut during our morning meeting that always makes me want to yell at folks. and because it makes me take a nice satisfying dump soon after. sometime several months ago i started drinking it black only.

I tried Starbuck's Blonde roast. It was lighter and less bitter, but it is still pretty acidic.

just drank my first glass of cold-brewed coffee. I ground light roast beans in my new cuisinart nut and spice grinder, soaked it in water over night with some vanilla extract, poured some through a little filter thingy i bought into a glass, and filled the glass with almond milk. not bad. but i might try adding some water next time, as the almond milk kinda took over.

interesting...large amounts of coffee usually give me the squirts

I've certainly never found it conducive to excellent dumps

^^^ Acidity is only slightly related to roast (and reversed from conventional thought, darker roasts are less acidic). The bean type/origin has the most impact on acidity. I think Starbucks brews pretty strong, as well as over-roasting most of their stuff. I think they expect everyone to put something in it and not drink it black. I did try their Blonde recently. It wasn't as much as I was hoping for, but I liked it better than their normal dark roasts, and would try it again, without hoping for something wonderful.

"http://In 2011, Dunkin' Donuts teamed up with CareerBuilder to shed some light on U.S. coffee consumption in the workplace. After polling 4,700 American workers, they concluded that "some professionals need coffee more than others."

After the jump, you'll find an infographic that depicts the fifteen professions most dependent upon coffee, along with some interesting trends. Is your job on the list? If you're involved in scientific research, the answer is a jittery, highly caffeinated "yes."

Among those polled, scientists and lab techs were found to be the heaviest coffee drinkers in the country. Anyone who works, or has worked, in science will likely find this result unsurprising. Science, after all, is a 24-hour job."

I usually drink 1-2 large mugs of coffee in the morning. If I have a small breakfast...just one. If I'm skipping breakfast...then two.

Now that's it starting to get cold, I'll add a cup of coffee in the mid-afternoon after lunch.
