But for Nascar, have you even watched races at Daytona or Talladega? Those races are a fucking joke.

As to driver talent. Tony Stewart won the 1996-97 IndyCar championship against a weak and low talent field (second IRL season following the CART/IRL split of 1996). And he's won 3 Cup championships. Mario Andretti and AJ Foyt won the Daytona 500.

To say that Dario Franchitti and Sam Hornish didn't pan out in Nascar which means that IndyCars are easier to drive is just flat out fucktarded.

Dario Franchitti was never given any time to transition to Nascar. He ran a handful of races in feeder series in 2007, then immediately started running Cup and Nationwide races, while his Cup team was underfunded (no sponsorship) and was shut down halfway through the series after only running 10 races. In the Nationwide series his results were far better than Danica Patricks, with 8 top 15 finishes out of 14 races. So how can you really do a fair assessment on Dario Franchitti when he was never given a chance?

Tony Stewart in 1996 DNQed for a Busch race, had no top 15 finishes. The next year he had 2 top 15 finishes in 15 races with a top rate Busch team (Joe Gibbs Racing).

And Sam Hornish wouldn't do well in the current IndyCar series. When Sam drove in the series, the talent pool wasn't anywhere near where it is now.

The way they treat her on these broadcasts is ridiculous. What other driver would be subject to having their radio broadcast live for two laps with comments every time she says anything? No one else would be questioned if they said something was wrong with the car.
