^^ Why would they panic and turn into someone? If they are merging, they would be coming into the slow lane. If I am speeding, I would be in the fast lane, or have moved over long before they needed to be merging. You can't honestly be that dense. You are actually blaming some one else for a bad driver hitting someone, and not blaming the bad driver.I would say nearly everyone who you are trying to argue with doesn't speed or drive aggressively through heavy traffic. We drive in excess of the speed limit when there is an open road. We are the morons who try and do 100 on a double lane road and cross the lines while going through turns. And yes, I am a better driver than you.[Edited on June 22, 2012 at 10:13 PM. Reason : .]

Yes, sarcasm... Or a typo, either way the point is the same. I don't care if my car is better or worse, still a better driver.

The only point I got was that it's ok for you to speed because you somehow manage to do it in manner that doesn't endanger anyone because you deem yourself a skilled driver. I guess to people who try to justify their unlawful actions it makes perfect sense, as the problem is with the logic behind the law and not with your own logic, however illogical it may be.I guess I must not be doing too bad as I've never gotten into an accident that was my fault (the one accident I have been in a person flat out ran a red light, hit me and then ricocheted into the car across from me).

I have never been in an accident that was my fault, and haven't been pulled over in over 12 years. I drive between 5 and 20 over depending on conditions. During multiple law suites that stemmed from speeding tickets, courts have ruled that some places keep the speed limit artificially low in order to generate revenue from speeding tickets. I know of two such cases in CA where they went back and raised the speed limits. If you want to do research on that, feel free to.
