^^i'm not an average person. i'm telling him what worked for me.no offense, but comments like like yours are completely useless and only serve to enable their behaviors. what you're saying is partly true, but only in extremely severe cases is it not an option.

I can only guess that it scored me slight-moderate on seasonal affective disorder because I answered that Winter was my least favorite season, but of course it has nothing to do with my mood or mental state, I just enjoy outdoor activities. This is the kind of shit that will give people hypochondria

SAD. People in northern areas are more likely to have depression due to lack of sunlight. It could be for an internal study thoughIm Krallum and I approved this message

^^I guess a few big things. I finished my Masters. I gave up beer/pasta. And I got put on a tiny dose of thyroid medication. Within a few days, I was able to wake up in the morning...after 10+ years of being terrified to sleep because I wasn't sure if I would wake up. It was actually an urgent care guy who caught the thyroid for me--I went in complaining of back and stomach problems, and he observed the other symptoms. My face was pale/puffy, my hair was falling out, my ears were really waxy, I had no reflexes, etc...for the most part, I just thought you were supposed to feel like garbage all the time.[Edited on June 20, 2013 at 5:36 PM. Reason : I also have a lot of dance parties.]

AHA, I know...it's awful. And I consider myself a beer drinker too.I mean, who am I?!?!? Of course, I think I may take it up again some day since I don't really know if it's responsible for my improved mood. But I'm definitely not messing with anything for now. I'm basically superstitious about my mood--all present routines must be maintained. And, in all honesty, Richard Howell was crucial through the winter months. He was my model for perseverance and excellence.[Edited on June 20, 2013 at 5:52 PM. Reason : I love talking about myself...so thanks for asking about this.]

I drink liquor when it's really, really important for me to do so. Friends don't let friends get drunk alone. And, no, it's not alcoholism. It's whatever you want to call it. I call it "my fucking business."

I've tried exercise - it really doesn't do much for me.Forcing myself into social situations is a bit harder since I know essentially no one in the area I live now.
