I've heard that zone defenses are laughably horrible, and that safeties do not cover deep on go routes.

I'm going to gripe about ratings. I know they couldn't make Amerson a god (his man and zone coverage are both 97) but his catch rating is 57, the lowest of all of our cornerbacks. I know he missed last season but Mustafa is a 77 overall. Charlie Hegedus is rated a 55 overall. I hope our o-line is a little underrated at an average of 81. One puzzling over-rating is Michael Peek at 78 (tied for highest of all our linebackers). That's pretty much all I got.

pretty cool you get to do kick and punt returns in the Heisman Race or whatever game mode, when applicable

Barry Sanders is the Wolfpack's kick and punt returner...in previous games in Road to Glory, you could never return kicks or punts, even if you were a Speed-first halfback, wideout or cornerback

and even when you come in to block field goals / XPs you have the first person view

i guess actually 3rd person, but not the normal overhead view from the sideline, the camera is behind your player

Barry finished with 6 rushing TDs, 1 receiving TD and a punt return TD against the NyM Huskies

its not even fair to play with him on the default difficulty

although my longest rush against Tennessee was only about 30 yards

i should play with Jim Plunkett, all the popular Heisman winners already have people who have put up insane stats with them on the leaderboard

No worries, I can do red numbers/letters easily. I like the red better too. I hate that you can't do both the "Kay Yow Pink" and the red ones, but it only allows one home alternate. Yet somehow Oregon gets a million uniform alternates in the game.

The menus have been getting slower and slower response times every year for like the past 3 years and it drives me crazy.
Why do they have to switch 2 or three different buttons every year and then I can't even set them back to what I'm used to.

how do teambuilder team work? so if i download that state teambuilder team will it have those black jerseys plus all the other default ones in the game? can i use the teambuilder team in dynasty?

Teambuilder lets you create a new school from scratch or from an existing one. So yes, if you download this one you will have all of the original jerseys, except for the 2010 red home alternate, which the black jersey now replaces. You also will not have white pants as an option, because there only 2 pants slots available (So it's red pants primary, black pants secondary).

You can use team builder teams in dynasty. Just start a dynasty, create a coach, and in the "Begin Dynasty!" screen, scroll to the bottom and select Import Team Builder Schools.

I've changed the numbers and text to red, although I can't upload pics or get into teambuilder at the moment. EA's servers just blew up I think. I noticed a few roster errors while playing, so I'll fix that too as soon as it lets me back in.

Sweet...I just realized you CAN actually edit players and equipment for a Teambuilder team within Dynasty mode. Teambuilder always auto-assigns the dumbest looking helmets and elbow pads to half the players on the team. Unless I'm missing something, I don't think there was ever any other way to access these players, even within the normal roster editor from the main screen.

had a play in my UMass dynasty just now where I switched to the receiver I was passing to and the ball was incomplete...on the replay, it confirmed I did get both hands on it, but the corner (or maybe safety) then forced it out of my hands...seemed pretty realistic, a nice touch to the new defense system

played about 2.5 games so far, fucking around with settings and shit. The NC State/UT game ended on a last second throw from Glennon to a crowd of people, ball bounced around some, State caught it for the game winning TD... so obviously the realism is a bit sketch so for, but I am sure they will fix that with an update.

Seems to be a LOT of injuries, had a QB go out ever game so far, and starting RB in 2 of them.

Only one game in, can't tell if our secondary is just freakish or if they need to tweak passing game.

Found it very funny that for the entire first half against Tennessee, they threw away from Amerson. Which netted CJ Wilson 3 INT's in the first half.

But so far I do enjoy the recruiting changes. Liked how the #1 player in the country was a G and after scouting it labeled him a "BUST" and then I found a "GEM" 3-star OL that overall is rated like a 4-star OL. But landed 3 3-stars before the first game including our only "position of need" at MLB. So should be fun to see how the first haul turns out.

during the game? i've had plenty of times where it would lock up my console after starting the game (basically it still showed the team select screen in dynasty) but havent had any in-game freezes

Second game froze during a replay.

The only thing Icahn think of was that I downloaded that state teambuilder team with black jerseys. I can't play anymore right now, but I'm going to delete that next time I play
