^^I'm in an architectural job (as an architect) and just got a 7% raise, in part to getting licensed, and a bonus worth about 11-12 weeks of pay. Gotta work for a larger firm.Although I too am lucky to have a job.[Edited on June 25, 2012 at 5:14 PM. Reason : .]

22% jump doing the same job. it's relatively a low-paying place but with really good benefits. got the bump up courtesy of HR re-evaluating a few jobs

From my salary on 1/1/12 to today it has increased 55% (through promotion, annual review, and negotiation). My biggest one time salary jump was 38.5% (2011).[Edited on June 28, 2012 at 2:38 PM. Reason : a]

I went from $11/hr to $20/hr and am getting a 5% raise in 6 months. At my last company no one ever got raises.

Just got a 16% raise but I'm still woefully underpaid.
7/2/2012 12:30:18 PM
just got bumped up 20% because they know I'm considering a move out of the areabut that probably won't change my mind...

If I get this job I'm interviewing for, it will be over 50%.
8/1/2012 5:24:16 PM
damn I'm doing it wrong. I got 3% pay raise and a $1500 (taxed) bonus to start the year. AND I was told I won't get promoted at least until late '13.
8/21/2012 5:00:01 PM
Is that a big raise?
8/21/2012 5:05:16 PM
Compared to the other posters, no.
8/21/2012 6:47:00 PM
I was promoted several years ago and got 33% raise but not much since.

hahahahha I couldn't hold a job to save my life. The biggest pay raise I've ever gotten was.. come to think of it, I don't think I have EVER gotten a raise at anything...I've talked or conned myself into some pretty high starting salaries before but a raise...bonuses like a motherfucker before. made a killing on private deals many times but a raise..no I don't think anyone has EVER given me anything that looks like a raise...hahhahahahah!!! holy shit, I'm a psychopath!!!! wow!

30% raise from 08-09, 29% raise from 09-10, 19% raise from 10-11, dick since (thanks for the pay freeze, Congress)the best one was the 10-11 though, because that got me to GS-12 and 70k/yr

This year is going to be interesting. Got a pretty standard 3.5% raise this year after my large one last year so my salary is up 50% since starting in 2007 at least and this was my highest offer at the time. However, because I just took a field-assignment for the company, I'll be getting at least 30% more than my listed salary this year and possibly 50% more depending on how long I stay on. The downside is being away from home though.
3/11/2013 9:23:54 PM
55% increase, plus pension/student loan forgiveness if I stay in the system.
3/11/2013 9:52:02 PM

not exactly a raise, but after being laid off last month, I just accepted a job that pays 20% higher + bonuses
3/13/2013 11:31:18 PM
Moved to NYC, making roughly 230% of what I made in Raleigh. Rent's a little higher though.
3/26/2013 4:17:24 PM
When I started at my current job I think my salary was 65k + bonuses. Previous job was 32k I think. I've only had very small raises since then, maybe 1%/yr on average.
