I've been sitting on this for over a year now to watch the entire series, waiting for an opportunity like being really sick or something, and it finally arrived last week when I was sick over the fourth. Got to watch all the way through the entire series in about 3.5 days. Big shouts to Netflix and torrents.

I hate Miller ads. The commercial where the guy wanted to go the bathroom with the other guy might be the most rage inducing thing I have ever seen. Credit to this show or credit to whatever new "make me buy things overlord" we have the Miller Time was an appropriate plug. If Breaking Bad needs the $$$ to continue I will allow it.

The future scene made Walt seem alone and desperate, like Jesse is already dead at that point. Maybe the heavy artillery is for a stand-off with the DEA? I wonder if we'll even see him cook again, with how much heat is about to come down.

nothing really happened to warrant discussion. it was a good episode, but pretty tame. i mean, look at the comments so far. we've been talking about commercials and larry hankin.

in the first episode of season 1, skyler arranged walt's bacon into a "50" for his birthday. thought it was neat how they linked the first episode of the first and last season.

I continue to hate Skylar so much that she almost makes the show unbearable. That said, I think Jesse will have to find out this season that Walt let his heroine addict girlfriend OD in front of him, that he poisoned that kid etc. Maybe not, but I expect a pretty epic standoff.

If he's indisputably terminal it's possible that he stopped chemo and his hair returned even though he was dying. His features did look incredibly sunken in and skeletal to me.

I went back and watched the first episode of the series, and he got a bacon birthday breakfast with 50 spelled out with bacon... similar to the bacon number he spelled out at the beginning of season 5 episode 1.
