i personally hate the guy hes pure slime from what ive seen, but hes freakin funny manjust his face alone
3/26/2012 2:17:48 PM
i liked the "is it just me or is the lobby full of negros?" line. idk why that struck me as so funny but it did

Pretty cool article about cost of living during the Mad Men erahttp://www.cnbc.com/id/46848844

i dont understand the relation to the artifact being delivered and deciding how to get the negroes to leaveand im assuming that he is going to do nothing with the applications, maybe im wrong

^^ yeah. It's not against the rules to criticize an awesome show every now and then. Not every episode can win an Emmy.

^^well what im saying is that why does something blockbuster have to happen?i dont see anything wrong with a pedestrian episode, but its obvious that people that didnt like the episode were somehow expecting immediate, fairly profound plot developments. Can you deny that? no im not thinking people want to see a gunfight on a fucking runaway train or anythingim the last person to call myself sophisticated about anything...youre just hurling masked non-specific insults way to go^i looked it up and its from some song by sophia lauren or something and it means "o that kiss" or something loosely translatedanyways, thats why shows dont last anymore, we have no attention span and if something major with the plot doesnt happen each episode the ADD nation gets bored and turns the TV off...in my opinion. I felt like i stopped into the office after being gone a few months on a normal day seein what was up with everybody...i like that personally[Edited on March 27, 2012 at 11:56 AM. Reason : e]

i have another question since ive only seen season 4was betty always such a freakin bitch? or is she just falling apart. Because i hate that woman
3/27/2012 12:37:51 PM
Others will weigh in I'm sure, but she's always been very childish (and child-like), shallow, selfish, and very used to being taken care of. She's insecure and Don's infidelity has not helped with that, but from what I remember from other seasons her mother (I think?) contributed to a lot of that. Her harpy-like qualities have just gotten worse and worse, and now she's unhappy because she has not been able to find perfection even with Mr. Francis.
3/27/2012 12:49:36 PM
3/27/2012 12:57:17 PM
not trying to be that guy but there was far more to that party than "Don doesn't like parties"
3/27/2012 1:03:59 PM
BigHitSunday, I rag on Betty, but I really don't think she is a bitch. She is just angry. A lot has been taken away from her. Her marriage, her father. And she doesn't have anyone to lean on.I think you will sympathize with her more if you watch Season 1. In particular, check out Episode 13. It's the season finale. And even though it features Don's famous "Wheel/Carousel" pitch, I think my favorite scene from that episode (maybe the whole season) is a moment between Betty and Glenn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7ov7STa_Ik[Edited on March 27, 2012 at 1:16 PM. ^^ yeah there was also a zoobie zoobie zooAll I'm saying is it's okay to not be blown away by an episode of Mad Men. And it has nothing to do with a lack of "profound plot developments." Mad Men is still one of the best shows on TV, I'm not here to trash it like Walking Dead. Season premieres are usually weaker than the end of a season anyways so I'm not worried about it.[Edited on March 27, 2012 at 2:27 PM. Reason : .]

I don't know that anybody is arguing that Mad Men is beyond reproach, I just thought it was a good episode and probably one of the funnier outings to date.
3/27/2012 3:00:29 PM
i love Mad Men and always will...however...after seeing Jon Hamm in Bridesmaids, it will never "quite" be the same to me again i really hope Pete Campbell gets gang raped at some point...and the only thing that keeps Lane Pryce from being a complete creep ball is that he's British...hahathis quote describes him perfectly..."He’s such a funny mix of propriety and perviness."[Edited on March 27, 2012 at 3:15 PM. I like the french chick with big titties
3/27/2012 11:59:25 PM
jon hamm directed one of the eps, I think the 2nd...so he directed jessica pare to lay her bare tit on his bare stomach, smat man.
3/28/2012 12:08:00 AM
yeaa layne is awkward as shit
3/28/2012 8:29:59 AM
Sally is what, 12? 13? Such an impressionable age
3/28/2012 8:31:58 AM
She sounds like she got into Betty's cigarettes
3/28/2012 9:01:26 AM
Yeh Sally seems a lot older.
3/29/2012 11:53:28 PM
the actress that plays her is 12 irl & they were off the air for like 1394740924 months. kids grow really fast at that age range.

no bump?!?!?no one is shocked by fat betty drapper
4/2/2012 12:28:48 PM
make up and it was filmed right after she gave birth
4/2/2012 12:38:40 PM
too bad it was benign
4/2/2012 12:40:02 PM
for me it proved that the amount of weight you have makes a different in the level of your attractiveness. I don't think that any of that was really fat suit.
4/2/2012 1:20:31 PM
I read she was pregnant still when that was filmed.
4/2/2012 2:04:38 PM
it looks liked fat suit and a little make up but you can tell by the wrists she defintiely still was pregnant or had babyweight They might have had to even out the "fat" distribution so that it didnt look like pregnancyit seems like with each episode of megan i am becoming more and more of a fan, im actually dreading when don does her bad because I see that he is severely underestimating her as a person in my opinion and it seems inevitable that he is going to fuck her over
4/2/2012 4:37:52 PM
i disagree, i think he'll finally be happy with her. i do think he'll be tested.
4/2/2012 5:04:18 PM
I need to find a megan.

wow
4/8/2012 11:07:31 PM
so yeah... fever dream... right?
4/8/2012 11:46:06 PM
That'd be really lame if it were a dream, so it better not be a dream.Dramatic situations make dramas interesting.
4/9/2012 1:23:48 AM
of course it was a dreamhow could anybody think that it wasn't a dream?
4/9/2012 1:27:27 AM
Crazy dreamGreat Peggy episode.
4/9/2012 7:48:28 AM
yeah, the last 10 minutes were great. the dream, Joan dumping Greg, Peggy and Dawn, etc. i'm thankful it was a dream, because Don killing a woman would've just been too much drama. wonder if the entire encounter with her was a dream, or just the part where she came back in and found him in bed?
4/9/2012 9:19:00 AM
im relieved that he seems to actually like MeganI was so disappointed when it appeared that he had sex with the chick. I ws strongly convinced that her return was a dream but i was sure when they banged it had actually happenedand im so glad AMC started showing the series again with episode 1, 2,and 3 of the first season so i can get the backstories. they come on 6-9am on sundayJoan Holloway is a boss^it was all a dream, because megan (who was lookin gorgeous in that scene btw) said she had come straight home[Edited on April 9, 2012 at 9:57 AM.
