So, on the topic of the CHI, I just did a bunch of research for a PM. I would recommend getting this one for $100 in-store from ULTA:http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod3850103Many of the lesser priced ones on-line are probably fine though, but it's good to have the warranty.Do not get the Air (a cheaper version that's still around $100). And do not get the more expensive digital one or ionic one. Consider getting a cute color instead of black to make it kind of fun as a gift but black is fine.[Edited on December 2, 2011 at 11:58 AM. well I don't like having to wait. Not happy about that part. But I'll enjoy picking stuff out. I have no idea what "too far" is. That just doesn't make any sense. Wearing dresses myself might be too far in the sense that it's not following the accepted social lines between genders. But that's not relevant b/c I don't have any interest in mixing men and dresses. And I apologize for having a response to being called a faggot, because that's not an insult, because there's nothing wrong with being gay in the first place. In fact, there's really no disincentive for being mistaken for gay. As a demographic group, they probably have one of the best reputations. And although I have heard many men call me gay in a derogatory way, almost no women have. I'm not all that concerned about my cred with the boys.

^ Shrug. I had a boyfriend who was waaaaay more into clothing than I was, and he wasn't flaming. I thinkif you're in a field where first impressions really matter (finances, marketing, sales, etc.) then yes, it behooves a man to dress well and know how to shop. It depends also on how far you want to project your professional image-my guy friend is a chiropractor and looks like he stepped out of GQ, because he always feels like he couldbe meeting potential clients at social events.

For the record, I never called you a faggot. You merely insinuated as much.
12/2/2011 12:06:13 PM
my take away was that you were referring to a baguette.

How many presents should a girlfriend expect at christmas time? Especially if you are already taking her to the Bahamas and plan on proposing?
12/7/2011 4:11:22 PM
^ if that is what you are planning to do, I think adding any present would be taking away from the experience. Keep it simple, because the trip on top of the proposal will be all she remembers.also, I have never expected any amounts of presents out of bf, but I wouldn't expect more than one for sure
12/7/2011 4:39:36 PM
The number of presents you give depends on two things: 1) how "spoiled" she is and 2) how good of a boyfriend you are.If you've been neglectful in the relationship, then you better come correct with the gifts. And, if she is accustomed to receiving lots of presents, you should probably get her lots of good presents. Personally, I think gift greed is a fairly unattractive quality, but if that's how she is, that's how she is. And I'm sure she has a bunch of other great qualities that make her lovable, and if she doesn't, then you shouldn't be getting her anything at all.

I hear ddd is really good at shopping.
12/7/2011 4:58:43 PM
?I hate shopping. But if "shopping" is code for something totally inappropriate, like cursing out your grandmother or not bathing for two weeks, then, yes, I'm a damn good shopper.
