They should open a Bowls on Hillsborough Street.

The General Mills Bowls Bowl
11/27/2011 11:06:06 AM
1. nashville2. charlotte3. ...
11/27/2011 11:11:14 AM
I would prefer the bowl that has the most Sheetz along the way.
11/27/2011 12:55:22 PM
11/27/2011 1:08:11 PM
Charlotte and Raleigh do not hold a torch to it.
11/27/2011 1:25:19 PM
I'm hoping for Nashville because I've never been and would love an excuse to get out there. I'd also be happy with the Independence Bowl if I could make it to New Orleans

11/27/2011 2:41:50 PM
http://blogs.newsobserver.com/accnow/wolfpack-very-very-high-on-belk-bowl-listugh, I really don't want to play any of these teams
11/27/2011 3:12:34 PM
I want Nashville. Will turn it into a new years eve trip. Wouldn't be mad at Charlotte or new orleans or dc tho
11/27/2011 3:22:48 PM
from the sounds of that article, we are pretty much a lock for charlotte. oh well. nashville would be really fun.
11/27/2011 3:24:06 PM
The belk bowl reps were at the game and they said State was their #1 choice.
11/27/2011 3:56:47 PM
I spoke with Independence bowl reps at the tailgate
11/27/2011 4:06:44 PM
11/27/2011 4:12:23 PM
I chatted with the Orange Bowl reps at the south endzone urinals.

so the sun bowl picks before the belk bowl, whats the chances they'd pick us?
11/27/2011 6:11:02 PM
of course but i didn't refresh the thread when I posted it.....
11/27/2011 6:11:05 PM
^^According to the AJC, the Sun Bowl is very high on GT even after the UGA game.
11/27/2011 6:27:05 PM
I imagine the name recognition from being in the polls most of the season has them hoping people will buy tickets because their fanbase sure doesnt travelI'm just tired of playing the big east, our last three bowl games have been against big east teams[Edited on November 27, 2011 at 6:29 PM. Reason : .]
11/27/2011 6:28:36 PM
I have ZERO interest in going back to El Paso.
11/27/2011 6:29:45 PM
Regardless of where we go bowling, below is a great deal for an AD military. I may even make a separate thread for it.http://www.militarybowl.org/military-appreciation/active-duty-military/
11/27/2011 6:43:24 PM
so they get 6 free tickets??? damn that is a good deal
11/27/2011 6:49:58 PM
to watch UNC play football? Negative. Sell the bitches and profit.
11/27/2011 8:39:18 PM
ESPN just updated their bowl projections. Both seem to like us going to Nashvillehttp://espn.go.com/college-football/bowls
11/27/2011 8:52:10 PM
I really don't see Belk passing us up for Virginia, but I may be wrong.
11/27/2011 8:55:29 PM
Yeah especially with our comeback vs Maryland and VT demolishing UVA. Some of it might come down to the Big East situation though. Just have to wait and see.
11/27/2011 9:00:17 PM
looks like those guys are just putting us in the order of the conference standings?
11/27/2011 9:06:45 PM
Dinich has us in Charlotte, therefore it is in stone
11/27/2011 9:13:21 PM
the only way I can see them taking virginia is if they really want cincinatti over louisville but that's not likely
11/27/2011 9:14:32 PM
I would be very surprised if we don't go to the Belk Bowl. We haven't been to charlotte in a while, close to Raleigh, exciting wins to finish the season...
11/27/2011 9:14:57 PM
belk bowl would be alright if we had a rematch with west virginia.. and the good nc state showed updon't care much for playing louisville or rutgers
11/27/2011 10:12:14 PM
Which team of the lot has the hottest potential bowl spectators? My vote goes with that team.
11/27/2011 10:18:21 PM
definitely not rutgers, then. all rutgers bitches i've seen are loud and gross.
11/27/2011 10:19:36 PM
Louisville, WVU, and Rutgahs have annoying Marylandesque fan bases. Only time I saw a lot of UL fans was the year they were in the Orange Bowl vs Wake. Good news is WVU is the only one that will probably travel well to Charlotte.
11/27/2011 10:37:33 PM
wvu is probably gonna win the big east barring a giant choke job
11/27/2011 10:39:32 PM
And it's not like WVU has done any giant choke jobs in the last few years that cost them the Big East championship. That'd be unheard of![Edited on November 28, 2011 at 9:15 AM. Reason : B2B loses to Syracuse ad UCONN count]
11/28/2011 9:12:29 AM
i want the belk. charlotte is so damn... convenient.
11/28/2011 9:26:20 AM
Independence BowlShreveport is the only place on the list with gambling. That's much more fun than visiting your in-laws for the game or trying to find out which bars in Nashville aren't tourist bars.
11/28/2011 9:34:23 AM
That would be the least desirable bowl in terms of payout and match up so I don't know why you would want your team going there.
11/28/2011 9:46:17 AM
Louisville, ugh. A few years back we had Pitt during the regular season and beat them, UNC played them in their bowl game that year and lost. I had a nice time ribbing a few fans over that.UNC beat Louisville during the regular season this year, I'd sure hate to lose to them in a bowl game. I can hear it now
11/28/2011 9:47:52 AM
1. Payout doesn't affect me2. Air Force could be an opponent3. Bowls are meant to be a vacation, and Charlotte is a shit vacation unless you're a NASCAR FAN. VROOM VROOM!
11/28/2011 9:48:09 AM
^^If only you had something adequate to counter their ribbing.
11/28/2011 9:50:15 AM
