Ducktails is a dude doing bedroom recordings. Some of his stuff would be considered chillwave, and he's definitely collaborated with Panda Bear. Those other dudes are just gloom rock, or shoegaze or whatever they call it. Ducktails may be kinda boring (and I kinda agree), but I don't see the similarity in the things he does. He, at the very least, uses way more effects than those other guys, that are just rocking out basically. Hell, I'd put Yuck in that category before Ducktails...
