Who the fuck goes to a performance of the Wall and is surprised, let alone angered, by liberal political commentary?

I don't know I couldn't make out what he was saying from where I was. It was at the time he talked about the guy being killed in the train. Truthfully I didn't pay too much attention to him.

I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that a good amount of people who go to shows like that don't put a lot of (if any) thought into what they're listening to

what the hell does that mean?
7/10/2012 3:07:39 PM
It means "In Bloom."

um okI never thought The Wall would be an album/concert that most people could get into without even thinking about what it's about. It's not Jimmy Buffett.

I think anything that has been played for 30+ years on mainstream rock radio falls into that category

I totally agree that there were some of those people there last night.I just don't see a "good amount of people" (is that a majority or what?) dropping that kind of coin on a "The Wall" ticket without having any kind of idea what they're listening to, aside from knowing the words to Another Brick in the Wall. Basically, I agree with...
7/10/2012 3:45:37 PM
a good amount, as in more than a few, but not a majority
7/10/2012 4:02:11 PM
fair enough

Perhaps I should have asked that guy "Is this not what you expected to see?"

"TEAR DOWN THE FUCKING WALL"Very amazing, haven't listened to The Wall cover to cover in ages and even then I was probably stoned out of my mind in college watching the Movie. Definitely knew what it was about but seeing it in concert and much more mature than college the album is definitely amazing and the performance was just awesome.
