Nice work republicans. You guys fail to remember we have a system of checks and balances. DOT laying off people is not due to the budget. Its because private firms have lobbied the legislature (republicans) into giving out more work. How much more? 50%.........oh and they say its cheaper to privatize......how much cheaper? $0.00 saved. Its in fact more expensive........who takes the hit? tax payers.
