The subject matter might be too niche for some folks (like a high-wire walker isn't?), but Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows is a fantastic film. Pro wrestling is not fake, it's scripted...and sometimes it isn't. ]

I agree that An Inconvenient Truth is one of the most influential documentaries of all time--not in terms of filmmmaking, but in terms of actually influencing the outside world--but it's a fucking PowerPoint. I'm not arguing with its placement on the list, just saying that it's a relatively shitty movie in the middle of a bunch of really great films.

Man on Wire is my favorite, the film was amazing. Others I've liked recently:The Revolution Will Not Be TelevisedParallel Worlds, Parallel LivesCocaine CowboysThe Tank ManThe Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsburg and the Pentagon PapersI recommend all of these films.
