San Diego is probably the most amazing city ever so nothing can compete with it. It would suck if all the celebrities started being bandwagoners like with USC though.

get that shit ou of here
9/10/2011 7:48:28 AM
why does the special teams coach still have his job?
9/11/2011 4:25:23 PM
This is his first game
9/11/2011 4:28:26 PM
if kaeding is hurt, then who will blow the game-winning fg attempts?
9/11/2011 4:29:34 PM
Special teams woes are still with us. Opening kickoff returned for TD, and Kaeding injured on the kickoff return.
9/11/2011 4:30:00 PM
Scifres is like no fuckin problemdid i mention Scifres is the most bad ass punter ever
9/11/2011 4:32:08 PM
Why wasn't scifres kicking off in the first place, he's obviously got more power.
9/11/2011 4:35:20 PM
Accuracy? Injury worries? *shrug* dunno.
9/11/2011 5:00:53 PM
nvm[Edited on September 11, 2011 at 5:21 PM. Reason : ]
9/11/2011 5:20:04 PM
They are using Tolbert too much IMO[Edited on September 11, 2011 at 5:29 PM. Reason : They can't kick FGs? That's not good.]
9/11/2011 5:28:18 PM

9/11/2011 6:00:58 PM
Tolbert is a beast. Matthews is a pussy
9/11/2011 6:03:18 PM
Matthews has played very well today.Tolbert was perfect for that play, 4th and inches, but when you're between the 15 yard lines Matthews should get the vast majority of carries.
9/11/2011 6:06:03 PM
Really bad throw by Rivers. Stared down receiver
9/11/2011 6:21:43 PM
Scifres = monster
9/11/2011 6:37:00 PM
#dancing W
9/11/2011 7:11:42 PM
thank god they overcame that shot in the gut on the opening KO - no word yet kaeding - that worries me.
9/11/2011 8:15:39 PM
^"likely out for season"
9/11/2011 11:26:31 PM
I hope Kaeding never plays another game for the Chargers. Screw that fucking weak-legged, stupid looking choking-ass bitch. There are plenty of kickers out there who can make field goals and actually kick the ball into the back of the endzone from the 35.Losing Castillo is more of a problem, but Vaughn Martin is probably ready to step up in his place.[Edited on September 12, 2011 at 12:38 AM. 9/12/2011 12:37:30 AM
Kaeding: Regular season champion
9/12/2011 12:42:27 AM
Too bad John Kasey is not available.
9/12/2011 12:44:31 AM
You haven't ever seen kaedings placement kicks?I think he leads the league in kicks closest to the the endzone with no return or some shit like thatIt sucks to have him as my kicker and harvin as my RB in fantasy. I guess its one to huaseka or however you spell it.
9/12/2011 1:11:41 AM
I saw more of Kaeding's "placement kicks" returned for touchdowns last year than I ever want to see again. Happened again on his first kickoff of the season. The Chargers need a strong-legged kicker who can make a fucking field goal in the playoffs.[Edited on September 12, 2011 at 9:19 AM. Reason : 2]
9/12/2011 9:18:50 AM
i guess 67 yard field goal kicks arent good enough. last year sucked for special teams and it looks like it spilled over to this year. but its week one
9/12/2011 9:45:36 AM
he is the best long distance kicker in the league.look at the stats
9/12/2011 9:46:30 AM
In the regular seasonAlso, the Chargers rarely attempt a kick longer than 53 or so. Kaeding did nail a 57-yarder 2 years ago, but there are plenty of kickers who are better at long fgs and can get the ball to the back of the endzone on kickoffs.
9/12/2011 10:01:55 AM
yea and they play indoors
9/12/2011 10:36:28 AM
9/12/2011 10:43:38 AM
Kaeding is/was a very good regular season kicker with great FG accuracy. In the playoffs though he could not handle the pressure and sucked huge balls. Who's available for SD to pick up? Kiker is out there...
9/12/2011 10:58:38 AM
Kris BrownShayne GrahamHauschka
9/12/2011 11:16:44 AM
i thought seattle picked up hauschka
9/12/2011 12:18:45 PM
Statistically the chargers had the worst special teams in history last year (not hyperbole, this was statistical analysis). Can't believe they can't revert to the mean this year haha.Wait who was saying kc was good this year on page one hahaha they lost by 30 to the bills
9/12/2011 1:02:42 PM
^ I said that I never said they were good. I was implying that they could be a threat to the Chargers.I based that mainly on the fact that they went 10-6 last year and brought back all of their "stars" like Cassel, Bowe, Charles, Hali, etc. But yeah they looked horrible yesterday and throughout the preseason. I expected them to the 2nd best team in this division, but shit they might be the worst team in the AFC.[Edited on September 12, 2011 at 1:21 PM. Reason : ]

you stay classy, san diegohttp://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Qualcomm-Stadium-server-trips-loses-1-000-82?urn=nfl-wp7156go bolts
9/16/2011 3:55:52 AM
good match up this weekend with the Pats. their home opening record is a little scary but i think Rivers will go to that defenselike a warm knife through butter
9/16/2011 3:16:16 PM
I mean...I can see why New England is favored...but NO ONE is giving San Diego a chance. I really really hope they can pull this one out.
9/16/2011 4:02:30 PM
Total on that game can't be set high enough
9/16/2011 4:03:51 PM
^^ the majority of the guys on Fox Sports are predicting the Chargers winning outright
9/16/2011 4:07:33 PM
wish this was the monday night game
9/16/2011 4:31:18 PM
9/16/2011 5:15:10 PM
An away game in the northeast? Remember how they played the Steelers in 2009. ewwwDon't see the Chargers pulling this one out.
9/16/2011 5:23:02 PM
Maybe Rivers can pull some magic out of his ass like that crazy comeback in Cincy 5 years back
9/16/2011 5:34:50 PM
tied up
9/18/2011 4:43:23 PM
wow, rivers took a shot. However, I'm tired of all these bad roughing calls.
9/18/2011 5:05:39 PM
New England is the last team with the right to complain about roughing the passer being called overzealously. Also, Tolbert is a beast.
9/18/2011 5:09:31 PM
haha, good lord that was ugly... should have let Norv run that in instead of P.Riv haha
