Suspend, ban, terminate The E Man finally please?

Revisionist history is going to be in the form of "wilson wanted to play for a championship so he used the new transfer rule". Play with me though, if Wilson was forced out, wouldn't all parties rather report it the way they did? You guys have already admitted that we would've been screwed for next year if kept wilson and therefore glennon was our best interest.

Too much sand in just one vagina. The E Man[Edited on June 29, 2011 at 4:41 PM. Reason : .]
6/29/2011 4:40:38 PM
So you're sure Wilson didn't want to play here?
6/29/2011 4:42:12 PM
Wilson, essentially, was cut. End of story
6/29/2011 4:42:41 PM
guys, guys please reserve this thread for talk about Glennon's non existent chances of winning the heisman...
6/29/2011 4:44:29 PM
This team is built for 2012. "Downgrading" from Wilson to Glennon this year may drag us from eight wins to six or seven. Downgrading from a battle tested Glennon to (insert freshman here) next year could drag us from ten wins to five or six. We could be BCS level next season, and TOB did his part not to fuck that up.
6/29/2011 4:49:15 PM
fuck it, why not a Scott Wood Naismith Watch thread? Just as likely

sorry for the RW talk[Edited on June 29, 2011 at 4:51 PM. Reason : ]

This is stupid and unnecessary.

I am extraordinarily nervous about Glennon living up to expectations. When we landed him as a recruit I was all exited about him being awesome, then RW made me forget all about him for 3 years. Now, I'm just not sure.I have a feeling that TOB thinks that Glennon is better than Wilson. He is definately a better deep passer. Also, I do not see a Glennon woot thread.

Why? Russell had to work pretty hard to get a deep ball up, and sometimes they looked pretty....pitiful. Glennon has a hell of an arm, on the other hand. His rankings and performance in all star events support this idea. Now, does it translate on the field? That's another question, but I don't think you can argue that Glennon doesn't have a super rad deep ball [yes homo]
7/3/2011 6:02:13 PM
^ good objective analysis grasshopper... I approve, with both the style and the content.
7/3/2011 6:07:30 PM
I heard Harrison Beck throws a good long ball, tooI almost forgot that TOB started Beck over Wilson. Hahahaha. Glennon is the savior, folks. Trust TOB[Edited on July 3, 2011 at 6:22 PM. Reason : .]

7/6/2011 4:00:50 PM
BOO GLENNONWILSON 4EVERbut yes, people are shitting all over wilson/TOB for this situation, when glennon had as much to do with it as anybody.
7/6/2011 4:02:58 PM
I know. how dare a guy that actually practices with the team all the time get miffed at a golden god not having to do the same. what a terrible guy!
7/6/2011 4:11:30 PM
I think TOB made the right decision. Do you let a guy you've been grooming for 3 years leave in the off-chance that your 3 year starter acts all Brett Favre and actually decides to play one more year? What if Glennon transferred and Wilson didn't decide to play one more year? Now the load falls onto a RS-Fr in Brosius who while decent, is probably not ready to play. You go with the secure choice of having Glennon for the next two years, instead of the gamble that Wilson plays for one more year.
7/6/2011 4:15:06 PM
7/6/2011 4:21:57 PM
exactly. Glennon showed the fuck up. Wilson didn't.
7/6/2011 4:24:15 PM
TOB not giving Wilson a chance to compete for the starting job is basically him caving to Glennon's demand to be starter or he is gone.I have no problem with the fact that Wilson isn't here and that Glennon is. I have a problem with the fact that TOB came out months ago and said Glennon was our starter no matter what. Also, this thread is still stupid and unnecessary.
7/6/2011 4:24:52 PM
why is this argument still going on?

It's not like Wilson can say, "I shouldn't have to compete. Look at the trophy case for my credentials." Oh we've got a Champs Sports Bowl Trophy. Big whoop . Now if Wilson could have taken us to an ACC Championship, then he could have done whatever he wanted.

+1
7/6/2011 5:00:10 PM
If anyone has a quote where Glennon actually said "start me or I'm transferring" that's fine. If not can we please quit the hostage talk? Need to take that conspiracy theory, Glennon holding the program hostage with mind games shit over to PP
7/6/2011 5:14:53 PM
TOB was getting big props today on WFNZ 610am here in Charlotte in regards to the RW/MG situation. +1 credibility
7/6/2011 5:15:00 PM
No one's going to care about he said/she said 6 months from now. All that's going to matter is who has a better season, and fairly or not, that will determine for most people whether TOB made the right decision or not.
7/6/2011 5:20:48 PM
I don't think anyone (important) will compare our season to Wisconsin's. I think they will compare this season to last season.
7/6/2011 7:45:35 PM
Wisconsin will be one of the favorites to win the Big Ten, and be a potential National Championship contender now that they have a capable, experienced QB in RW. I think the best that we can realistically hope for is 2nd in our division, which doesn't mean we can't have a great season with 9 wins again.
7/6/2011 8:00:05 PM
7/6/2011 8:34:37 PM
You guys act like he missed every practice. Practice hasn't even started yet. By your logic no true freshman would ever sniff the field.
7/6/2011 8:43:56 PM
^^TOB said Glennon would be the starter regardless when Wilson made it clear he was not going to be at spring practice. It just seemed no one believed him, including Wilson, until Wilson was informed again of coach's decision and asked for his release.
7/6/2011 8:56:42 PM
^^ you do realize they practice in the spring, right? and you do realize that he missed every single one of those practices, right? fucking troll.^ then that's entirely different. If you have a player who won't make a commitment, then that's how you fucking treat him. plain and simple. My post was made because the original guy made it sound like TOB said Russell wasn't gonna start, even before Russell said he wasn't gonna be there for practice[Edited on July 6, 2011 at 9:07 PM. You guys are the biggest douchers ever honestly.RW was literally a Greek God for this program, we sucked total dicksac the past couple of years and he pulled us out of the gutter to almost compete for an ACC title. He's gone now, the circumstances are the kind of crazy bullshit that only an NC State fan could ever expect but let's step back into reality for 20 seconds.I hope he wins the Heisman and National Title at Wisconsin because he deserves it. If he does I'll punch myself right in the testichips like 9 times just to make sure I can still feel feelings. In the meantime I'll still put drinking #1 and NC state sports at #8 right behind the aforementioned drinking and #2-#7 like wealth, food, comfort, sex, car, and personal happiness.Stop blaming Mike Glennon, TOB, and RW for all doing what's best for them and start worrying about something more important in your life for 5 fucking minutes. Quit debating other people's career decisions like your input matters to them at all. No one cares that you deflect your personal misery on NC State Athletics. It's time for this idiot fanbase to grow up. That being said, Fuck UNC.
