This article has Nate as the #2 LB at the Senior Bowl - http://profootball.scout.com/2/1042812.html

Everyone has differing opinions at the Senior Bowl. One scout said Kaepernick has been the best QB on North's squad while another said he's been the most disappointing. If there are scout's you know/trust, then read them, otherwise you're better off just ignoring Sr Bowl reports

1/26/2011 5:24:46 PM
no, the order stays the same
1/26/2011 5:27:55 PM
As currently structured, yes. But you have to believe the new CBA would include a one-time provision for some kind of alternative method. Other teams wouldn't be happy with us getting Fairley/Bowers AND Luck.
1/26/2011 5:35:21 PM
seems like something they should have thought about already
1/26/2011 5:40:32 PM
If they had that kind of foresight, then they probably wouldn't be at such an impasse in the negotiations in the first place.
1/26/2011 5:46:27 PM
Nate blew up Kaepernik when he was trying to scramble out of the pocket (he also blew a coverage on a TE to give up a 27 yard pass, but I choose to ignore that).

we doing that fantasy GM shit again?if so, I got the Falcons locked down

Weslye Saunders is ineligible for the draft due to a paperwork, which is funny because his dad works for a paper.http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Sources-Weslye-Saunders-ineligible-for-draft-scouting-combine.htmlAlso, here's the mock draft listed on the right side of the article.

not draft related but this is probably will the most used NFL thread for a while...Since most of you are too young to remember the '87 NFL strike where scab players were used, here is a nifty little summary:http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/82154

Combine Results from the NFL. Runs through tomorrow.http://www.nfl.com/combine/top-performers-classicJulio Jones ran a 4.39 40 but just recently broke his foot so he won't be able to work out with teams before the draft.Greg Little had the most bench reps out of WR, Searcy with most in CB, Austin with 2nd most in DT and glad to hear Mark Herzlich had 3rd most in LB.Little is top 5 in quite a few categories but that won't matter with his hands of stone. Here are Irving and Spencer's profiles:http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/nate-irving?id=2495175http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/owen-spencer?id=2495349

Are those the only 2 guys we have at the combine? I would think J Williams would have gotten a look.
3/1/2011 10:37:51 AM
hard to believe owen only ran a 4.54....i never saw him get run down from behind
3/1/2011 12:07:37 PM
Spencer never seemed that fast to me, just a guy who can get open, which is a much more valuable skill.
3/1/2011 12:12:04 PM
the nfl.com write up about Irving is pretty good, the last "weakness" they put is lame though
3/1/2011 12:22:08 PM
Missing a year in any profession would be a detriment. An NFL team would be idiotic not to take that into consideration.
3/1/2011 12:25:10 PM
Especially with the injuries involved. There is a huge difference in missing a year because of non-injuries and injuries. Having come back and played at a high level should help him. But they will still be concerned about possible long term effects.

Just realized Bowers is out of the Top 10 in both of those mocks. If that's true, I wonder how much money he lost?
4/15/2011 11:32:16 AM
^^HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAdon't worry the panthers will take him.
4/15/2011 3:53:45 PM
he went to the Falcons in the mock draft they just did on NFL Radio

LOL at man titties. Who is advising this fuck turd? John Blake?
4/15/2011 5:24:43 PM
The other of the two draft guys on ESPN (not Kiper) thought Starvin' should be taken by Chicago in the 1st. Mentioned the attitude problems and not having played football in a year, but he's got talent in them titties.

Rick Gosselin from the Dallas morning news should be releasing his mocks soon. Over the past couple years he has been the most accurate as far as projected picks
4/19/2011 7:13:55 AM
I'm interested in seeing how the first round mocks of these gurus matches with the real draft. If I recall correctly, ESPN had a bunch of their NFL reporters give their picks and the top person had ~10% correct.
