It’s easy to get caught up in the idea that Ohio State is bigger because of the trips to the BCS, or that Oklahoma is a better job because of its tradition, or that being the manager of the New York Yankees, head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, or head man of the North Carolina basketball team are somehow more prestigious, but a winning head football coach at Notre Dame would own more than just the sports world. He would be a king.

Is this it priest, the Pope's new army, a few crusty bitches and a hand full of rag tags?

Will Muschamp (Texas DC) to Florida, according to reportshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZSy2JH8iu4best ESPN clip of him ever[Edited on December 11, 2010 at 8:23 PM. Reason : he's only 39, so the pussy in Gainesville is probably better than in Austin]
12/11/2010 8:22:21 PM
^ yup it just popped up under breaking news on espn

LOL at Miami looking at Trestman[Edited on December 11, 2010 at 9:40 PM. Reason : ^^Guess he's tired of waiting on Mack to retire but after this year may not be long]
12/11/2010 9:40:24 PM
Miami should be in a position to get a big name coach. looks like their AD is cut from the same cloth as Lee Fowler.
12/11/2010 9:47:49 PM
Malzahn accepts Vandys offer for head coach.
12/12/2010 5:48:42 PM
nice... very interesting to see what he can do at Vandy
12/12/2010 5:56:03 PM
He probably could have held out for a better job.

a Jew in Miami, imagine that
12/12/2010 8:33:08 PM
i know he did well at temple but i'm not 100% sold on this one
12/12/2010 8:35:58 PM
happy for him, big step up though, but Miami is still struggling to be respectable so I could see why they took a chance
12/12/2010 8:36:47 PM
he'll fit right in moving to another team with no business playing in an nfl stadium
12/12/2010 8:42:57 PM
UVA will be kicking themselves if he has any success at Miami.
12/12/2010 10:04:24 PM
Vandy is denying the Malzhan story... and the Texas, Florida, and Georgia boards have been exploding the last day
12/12/2010 11:41:23 PM
I think Golden can be successful at Miami. The Miami job really isn't that hard. He just needs to get a decent number of the local kids, cherrypick good prospects from throughout the country, develop guys once they get there and be a good game day coach. As long as he wins, the great local kids will want to go there.

Interesting that he works with Newton. Typically, the offensive coordinator and quarterback aren't on speaking terms with each other.
12/13/2010 5:47:23 PM
Well I mean. All he had to do was make sure Cam showed up on game day.
12/13/2010 6:28:25 PM

Randy Edsall to Maryland
1/2/2011 2:08:23 PM
^damn, that motherfucker didn't waste ANY time
1/2/2011 2:26:31 PM

1/2/2011 2:31:25 PM
obviously Weis is going to be Florida's new OC
1/2/2011 2:32:00 PM
Is UCONN to Maryland really a vertical move?
1/2/2011 2:33:44 PM
Ah fuck, Maryland was causing us enough trouble with a bad coach
1/2/2011 2:34:10 PM
Randy Edsall's career is going south
1/2/2011 2:34:58 PM
is that a pun ಠ_ಠ
1/2/2011 2:36:32 PM
Where do you see TCUs coach going? He's due for a big paycheck from a big time school.
1/2/2011 2:39:14 PM
Wouldn't be shocked to see Danny O'Brien transfer. His family had already talked about it, and now UMd hires a run-first coach.
1/2/2011 2:39:43 PM
1/2/2011 2:40:57 PM
holding out for the $texas job in my opinion
1/2/2011 2:42:54 PM
I dunno, TCU is in a real good position right now. They are going into a shitty Big East conference where they could become the next Miami (in Big East) or FSU (in ACC) type school due to what will essentially be a free ticket to the BCS every year. And, if these spending numbers that came out the other day are right, they're willing to spend SEC money (and more than Texas) on their football program. [Edited on January 2, 2011 at 2:54 PM. Reason : NVM, Texas wasn't on the list cause they're not in a bowl (25m vs 20m)]
1/2/2011 2:52:41 PM
Mike Leach must interview like he commentates or something.
1/2/2011 3:08:30 PM
cant wait to see how much edsall is getting paid
1/2/2011 3:08:57 PM
He made $1.6M this year at UConn -- sucks... but knew it was going to happen eventually. He is a good coach not a great recruiter but a really awesome person too.[Edited on January 2, 2011 at 3:25 PM. Reason : also, sucks this happened this year -- skip holtz would've come back in a second]
1/2/2011 3:21:27 PM
I totally expected to see Leach at Maryland, kinda disappointed.
1/2/2011 11:15:03 PM
you do hate maryland right? why would you want a coach like leach going there?
1/2/2011 11:18:06 PM
Just for the laughs.
1/3/2011 9:57:45 AM
Sounds like Edsall is a bad breaker-upper
1/3/2011 10:03:16 AM
i heard he called Zach Frazer a "bighead"
1/3/2011 10:12:32 AM
I'll be checking Edsall's forehead at the press conference for fork wounds
