^what transmissions did they have? Nonetheless, that's not surprising as the TSX comes up short on horsepower and (even more) on torque compared to the other two.

Warranties are essentially insurance policies. On average, you will lose money on them. They do offer peace of mind and protection against catastrophic expense if you need it.

As far as aftermarket warranties go, I've read so much bad stuff about them weaseling their way out of covering things that I don't really have any faith in going that route.
