those are even slower than the CARB jugs[Edited on August 29, 2010 at 4:16 PM. Reason : we pumped all our methanol with those when i ran karts ]

good ol' american ingenuity will always find a way around the law. retrofit your CARB-compliant jugs to the old style nozzle and vent hole:http://ezpourspout.com/ez-pour-products/all-products/fuel-jug-spout/i'm gonna stock up on these before they get sued right out of business or they make these illegal too.

Holy shit THANK YOU! I bought a five gallon gas can recently and what a piece of shit that nozzle is. Nearly unusable.
5/24/2015 10:59:52 PM
of course they come out with this after i've already got three of the high dollar race fuel jugsbut, yeah, this is awesome. the interwebs tell me you can get them at tractor supply co., if you prefer to find them locally.

i hate the can I use for my lawnmower. I have to pull out the spout and ring and a whole host of other crap from inside of the can, and then manually screw them to the top just to pour out some gas. there is literally no way to keep gasoline from getting all over my hands and dripping everywhere. I just took everything out, and only leave the outer cap on. I just free pour it into my lawnmower with much less mess and hassle.
5/24/2015 11:24:22 PM
for $10.95 off amazon prime, you can fix that problem and have a jug with a spout and a vent hole just like we all used before 2009
5/24/2015 11:27:22 PM
I'm glad I'm not the only one that complains about the newer gas cans. I've been looking for a traditional one and I guess this is why I couldn't find one.Liberal gas cans suck. And I end up spilling more gas with the new ones.
5/24/2015 11:27:49 PM
Thanks Obama.

^^[Edited on May 25, 2015 at 12:16 AM. Reason : i always thought this was because Blitz got sued out of business...]
5/25/2015 12:15:19 AM
Now only do they suck, but they are fucking expensive as hell.
5/25/2015 12:28:38 AM
^^no, blitz had to go to the new ventless shitty style before they went out of business
5/25/2015 9:56:55 AM
I just siphon gas
5/25/2015 5:19:59 PM
got that arkansas credit card, huh?
5/25/2015 5:39:43 PM
5/26/2015 2:41:13 PM
you can buy metal jerry cans now that are compliant, they work fine
5/26/2015 3:02:28 PM
5/26/2015 3:20:13 PM
Link to the metal Jerry cans? Last time I looked for them, they were very expensive.
5/26/2015 3:47:13 PM
^^no i mean i tossed the rest and don't use them at all. I just free pour the stuff and usually don't spill anything.
5/26/2015 4:11:34 PM
That works if you have a decent funnel. It won't work if you want to put gas in a car unless you have a big enough funnel. Also need a funnel for the boat unless I want to pot gas all over the fiberglass. The long and skinny here is we took a perfectly good product and regulated it until we have come up with ways to work around the regulations. I just think an American should be able to walk into Wal-Mart and buy a fucking plastic container with a vent and a spout and put gas in it and take it home and fill up his car, mower, string trimmer, or boat without a bunch of damn hassle.
5/26/2015 4:20:27 PM
i'm seriously more excited about this purchase than anything i've bought in a very long time. it's kinda stupid how happy finding these things has made me.

5/26/2015 11:21:25 PM
I think I might buy a few of these things. My can leaks all over the place because the stupid valves in it don't work right anymore.

I just transport all of my gas in gallon milk jugs. so much easier.
5/27/2015 12:05:45 AM
I can see me rolling around with 20 milk jugs in the back of my truck so I can fill up my boat. But, alas, even a milk jug doesn't have a vent hole.
5/27/2015 12:09:00 AM
If you have a knife you have a vent hole

5/27/2015 9:23:23 PM
I just purchased a new one today
5/27/2015 9:25:05 PM
Thank you for posting the ez-pour. I have 4 cans, bought 2 for trials and if they work well I'll get 2 more. For the vent, do I end up drilling into the can to install it?
5/27/2015 9:34:03 PM
yeah, you drill a 1/2" holethis guy is annoying as fuck, but he shows what to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmlKiigJmH4
5/27/2015 9:41:12 PM
Got mine from Amazon today.
5/27/2015 10:07:52 PM

^lol, that jug at the link is just a new can with the EZ Pour kit installed. it's actually a good deal because that can is $20 at Home Depot and then the EZ Pour kit is $11 off Amazon.[Edited on May 28, 2015 at 6:32 PM. FYI you can get the EZ-Pours on amazon with free prime shipping. Just ordered two water ones since I live in faggoty ass MD
5/28/2015 10:52:01 PM
yeah, that's where I got mine. They're a dollar cheaper at Tractor Supply, I think, but it saved me a trip to Rocky Point, NC.If I was stupid rich, I'd buy a damn tractor trailer load of these things and roll around handing them out like candy off a firetruck in a parade.[Edited on May 28, 2015 at 11:19 PM. 5/28/2015 11:02:09 PM
For those who ordered them, how are they working out?
7/6/2015 2:24:14 PM
freaking love it. converted a 5 gallon and a 2.5 gallon with the "water" spouts. a 1/2" spade bit made putting the vent in as easy as can be.the best part is not getting goddamn gas all over my hands like the old ones required whenever I had to pull the spout out.not only that, but I feel like a pimp when I fill them up and see some poor schmuck filling his "safety" can. I've already told 3 people where to get them when asked about them at a gas station.best $25 I've spent on my outdoor accessories.
7/6/2015 3:11:23 PM
Nice. I did a 2.5 gallon blitz and two 5 gallon scepters.
7/6/2015 4:09:32 PM
isn't everything electric now?
7/6/2015 4:15:43 PM
went ahead and ordered 3 more just because i felt like sticking it to the man this evening
