^The problem is likely with my phone itself. I can list off about 8-9 flaws in the software that overtime break the phone and make it unusable, unless you factory reset, then 2 weeks later...

works pretty well. Even at 10 minute polling intervals, I haven't had any noticeable battery drain. Granted I've only gotten a handful of pm's though.

^^ nah, zorthage is the one working on it. I'm just a guinea pig playing around with it and trying to help get the kinks worked out.

^ I'll send him a pm and get him to post a link. Do note that it isn't a full fledged tdub app though. It PM's only at this point and checks to see if you have a pm at a specified interval and notifies you. You can then touch the notification and it'll open the pm in your browser.

Yeah I'm developing it, and pttyndal's description is spot on.

All it does is checks for new PMs (either in the background or on demand) at certain intervals and will notify you when you have new PMs. The notification will open your browser to either the new PM, or your inbox to view your new PMs.

I'm not putting a link to it here (because I want to control it while its being tested), but if anyone wants to use it, PM me and I'll send a link. Its not going into the Market any time soon because it costs $25 to get an account to post apps there and this isn't quite worth $25

Working fine now, may have been related to a connection issue as the browser wouldn't load pages right after that either. I think my phone drops data service occasionally as that's not the first time my datas were missing

Yeah, it will display an io error if you don't have internet for whatever reason (no signal, wifi asleep, etc).

Its on my bug list; the error the user sees should make more sense than io error.
