What rtc407 is too humble to explain, is that his dad indeed works for Golden Corral, and has a pretty prestigious position. He travels the world to various GCs and although I don't know all the details, is well respected in the administration, and he eats for free if he wishes. I'm sure he could elaborate, but it's a pretty sweet gig. So yeah, Thomas knows just about everything there is to know about GC.

And that baby needs to hurry up! Little guy is past due!

gotta say that i didnt like the chef-fairy banging people on the head w/ the iron skillet

nor the newest commercial w/ the jerk-off faced dad telling what his family demands

yeah, the new commercials aren't so good

"WE'RE FUCKING FAT, SO WE NEED A PLACE THAT WILL LET US EAT FOR SIX HOURS BUT ONLY CHARGE US ONCE"

the all-you-can-eat aspect of the commercial should emphasize the available variety of food at one low price, not the fact that the TV family are greedy pigs who must be fed continuously

^^ but those people are going to go there anyway

if you emphasize that you can get decent seafood and asian stuff and bourbon chicken and ice cream and whatever and you can pick and choose and change your mind because it's all-you-can-eat, perhaps reasonable people would go more often

When you're in the right mood, Golden Corral is so good. Bourbon St. chicken, mashed potatoes, string beans, yeast rolls. . .mmmmm. . . Definitely great hangover/comfort food.

O, America, lets poison our people who actually have money by overfeeding them and then proceed to throw away leftovers while millions starve.

^ The starving people would much rather go to a soup kitchen than to eat my leftovers.

Personally, I blew up my toilet last night. I blame mixing GC and Dos Taquitos.

the problem w/ GC is that it costs $11 and you feel like you have to get your money's worth

Exactly.
No one is forcing anyone to overfeed themselves.

no but it is encouraged

I'd prefer to eat at a restaurant where the chef will prepare a well balanced and portioned meal for me
