Who the fuck you trying to fool with "The guys love Norse mythology". NObody loves Norse mythology. Get the fuck out. And take your google search engine finds with you

not saying I'd name a beer "Valkyrie," but Norse mythology is tolerably bad-ass, for me

JeffreyBSG -- that's what they said, too I'm sure there are a couple people on TWW who know of the Order of Odin.

GeniuSxBoY, I'm sorry it offends you that I know mythology.

DOES NOT COMPUTE. Right now is plum season so if they're waiting until spring for fresh plums they'll be shit out of luck.

Yea so this is going to be these guys seasonal. Maybe you guys should find something better to do with your spare time during the summer (like getting a job, working on your resume, drinking a beer) instead of pouring over seasonal charts of fruits ripe -titude and comparing them to what people say. Maybe working 100 hours a week is already enough for the guys at Roth Brewing Company and they dont feel like bringing on their next beer. Start your own company during your last 2 years of college and then maybe you can find room to complain.

DOES THAT COMPUTE?

umadbrah?

see that's where you are an idiot. that's exactly the people that you want to become a fan's of your beer and your brewery, the beer nerds. They are going to comment and question on your ingredients, brewing practices, etc and it's something that you are going to have to get used to. that or you will be able to boast:

Start your own company during your last 2 years of college and then [FAIL]

oh yeah and calling your possible target demographic douchebags isn't going to help either....

Why does everyone who is up in arms about all of this assume that I work at roth brewing company? I just like their beer.

is all of that spelled correctly?

you signed up just to bitch at people who criticized a brewing company

and you did so under the name "beerzplz"

what conclusions did you think people were going to draw

and that wasn't a spelling problem

you used the wrong word

also, you don't just like their beer

you're friends with them

it's perfectly reasonable that you'd like to defend your friends' business, especially as it's new and they'll have kinks to smooth out

but calling someone a douchebag as one who's just arrived in defense of a brewery does a disservice to your friends, because it associates their business with childish behavior

Instead of arguing about beer I recommend an alternative:

I wish people could be nicer to one another. Local breweries are hard-pressed to get up and running. BeerzPlz just sounds like a drunk, upset friend who made a bad PR decision that is now affecting their company.

I went over there for their opening, and yea, some of the beers need refining -- but how are you gonna know what to fix if you don't have constructive criticism?

^Misha, please don't write them off before even trying. They're at 5907 Triangle Drive in N Raleigh, over near the Angus Barn. Right now it's obviously pretty hot out, but they're open pretty late.

As for the plum stuff -- shoot them an email, if you want. They might have some other reason for waiting until spring? Maybe they're bringing in plums from another place?

Anyway, I'm not a douchebag, but you guys are getting really feisty up in here. I mean, it IS Chit Chat, but we're all (mostly) 20-somethings who are trying to get careers started. Help your fellow Packers out?

^^ Now THAT is a perfectly reasonable response.

It's a shame that BeerzPLz isn't as smart as krneo1, but I'm not going to ascribe the earlier posts to intoxication as they were made in the middle of the afternoon.

ahahahaha, wow, talk about a defensive response over some damn plums I'm guessing BeerzPLz doesn't step foot in the produce section of the supermarket.

Well, I was going to check out this brewery when I'm back in town in August, but I guess I can skip it, since I'm a douche and all

Just curious but when they say cinnamon do they mean like spicy cinnamon or shaken out of a can cinnamon?

Mac's in Cary has two of their beers on tap. We decided to give them a run last night. The red was alright, would possibly drink again. The cinnamon porter was... well, I won't say it was bad but I will say I have no desire to drink it again.
