They let it happen. We'll let it happen too.

You're a gigantic idiot. Using that logic, Japan should nuke us.
5/29/2010 2:08:13 PM
Yes. And China should nuke Japan. Because of their fathers' sins they will waste away.

smc, get the fuck out of my thread with your lame ass trolling attempts. If you want to troll people about China, go start your own thread, you dumb cunt. I saw you trolling the space shuttle thread and now you're trying to troll this one. Go back into Shit Chat.

Got to take care of rabies one way or another.
5/31/2010 11:53:34 PM
Yeah, American animal control does the same thing, but the Chinese are more transparent about it.[Edited on June 1, 2010 at 1:11 AM. Reason : ANNNNNNNNNNND they don't let the meat go to waste!]

Dog is a delicacy there, i doubt they're eating street dog. When was the last time you had rocky mountain oysters?
6/1/2010 4:01:58 AM
^ Actually, it's not common to eat dog in China anymore. Only in some of the most southern parts of China (like in the Guangdong province in China). I'm just a little west of Shanghai. Maybe in some of the rural areas you'll still find people eating dog.I've put quite a bit of effort into trying to find some dog or cat to eat, and nobody knows where to find dog or cat to eat.
6/1/2010 8:23:52 AM
Or they're just not telling you where you can get it. My friend in Dalian has eaten some there.
6/1/2010 8:25:15 AM
tell them to quit polluting so goddamn much.................and then take more pictures
6/1/2010 10:31:07 AM
that garden was super pretty!
6/1/2010 3:20:03 PM
^^ The past few days have been gorgeous. Yesterday, was very weird. I wish I had taken some pictures of it. Basically, the sun was covered up as it was setting, but the sky itself was a dark blue, making for a great view. I can't really explain it.
6/2/2010 9:41:09 PM
Yeah, I'd love to know if the sky is as hazy (I mean, frequently hazy) as it is over here in South Korea.By the way, to add to the "China does this.." comments: From China, something called "yellow dust" blows down here periodically in the spring which is a nasty combination of sand from China's dry areas, and other nasty industrial particulate. Ask any South Korean; It's called "hwang-sa" (Yellow sand). While you're there, take a week to go out to Langzhou and then Xiahe and Machu (the latter 2 are Tibetan areas, but not in the TAR). Absolutely gorgeous. That's the kind of thing you want to use your camera for. I guarantee. Xiahe has the Labrang Monastery which has an amazing service which starts at like 3 a.m.

^^ Who do you know? Are they business, chem or ME? There's only 6 of us in ME, and I know everyone in that. There's like 20+ business majors, and I know quite a few in that. I know none of the chems though.I have a ton of pictures to post here, I'll see if I can post them tomorrow (they're already up on my photobucket). I'm at the dorm, and photobucket is a bitch on my computer in the dorm.
6/9/2010 10:18:27 AM
It directly translates to "yellow sand".About three years ago it was really bad. Made everything super hazy.
6/9/2010 10:21:57 AM
^ That's pretty bad. The smog hasn't been too bad, but I do miss the blue sky. Hopefully it will be nice tomorrow, as it had rained yesterday and today.
6/9/2010 10:23:36 AM
oh we've had worse days here in Korea, I'm tellin' you. Too bad I don't have any photos on hand. Some days we get broadcast cell phone messages which say "Yellow sand is really bad today. Limit your movements outside and for pete's sake, wear a mask"
