The Gerrard to Real and Torres to Chelsea sagas are about to destroy Liverpool.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=800238&sec=transfers&cc=5901Joe Cole to United?
6/22/2010 9:28:35 AM
Too bad Capello isn't letting him audition for both teams in the World Cup.I've always kind of liked Cole, even with Chelsea... shame he'll have to become a jerk at OT.
6/22/2010 9:32:48 AM
6/22/2010 10:06:49 AM
nah, he'll just get hurt a month into the season anyways
6/22/2010 10:37:58 AM
Sooo....Domenech to Liverpool?
6/22/2010 12:35:37 PM
Does that mean Anelka won't be part of the deal for Torres then?
6/22/2010 1:19:11 PM
6/23/2010 4:25:57 PM
that is crazy to me when SAF has admired and praised joe cole over the years...me and jadn were talking earlier that there might be financial problems hindering united from signing players right now...which with that debt hanging over their head does not bode well[Edited on June 23, 2010 at 4:34 PM. 6/23/2010 4:34:34 PM
trueyou all did get that mexi though
6/23/2010 4:36:41 PM
Supposedly Arsenal has been heavily scouting Michael Bradley. A chance they could go after Donovan and/or Howard as well.
6/23/2010 9:54:12 PM
they must have French ancestors
6/23/2010 10:12:54 PM
Citeh in for Landycakes?http://g.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/world-cup/news/sources-worlds-richest-club-eyeing-donovan--fbintl_ro-donovan062710.htmlI'd rather see him somewhere else, but I won't hate if he wants to get paid. Bitch has babies' mouths to feed now
6/28/2010 8:35:57 AM
I guess I'll be a West Brom supporter this year...Gooooo Fightin' Baggies!
6/28/2010 9:04:57 AM
I really hope Donovan doesn't end up at City, riding the bench behind 5 other overpaid transfers. Hopefully Everton will take a run at him again.
6/28/2010 9:14:10 AM
I'd like to see him at Arsenal. He'd be a definite upgrade over Theo.
6/28/2010 9:20:05 AM
It would be nice to see Bradley get a shot with a big club. He played his ass off this WC.
6/28/2010 10:19:46 AM
^agreed.^^i'd love to see him there.
6/28/2010 10:34:06 AM
from an espn article....Right back Steve Cherundolo has already capitalized. His Bundesliga team, Hannover 96, announced it was extending his contract for two years.
6/28/2010 11:06:13 AM
6/28/2010 11:35:48 AM
That would almost be better in a way because he would definitely see the field and Everton has some sneaky good players
6/28/2010 11:42:49 AM
^^^ I think that happened before the WC. Not surprising, he's been vice-captain there for a couple of years
6/28/2010 1:46:50 PM
Woy to Liverpool.and Sven to Fulham!?!? HOW THE FUCK DOES THIS ASSHOLE KEEP GETTING JOBS
6/29/2010 7:04:28 PM
^ Because he's a legit manager. I'm not a big fan, but he is pretty proven at the club level. No telling where City would be if they hadn't shitcanned him before the Arabs took over. And Di Maria FINALLY signed for Real today, like a month late.
6/29/2010 7:21:38 PM
Not really new but Toure, Silva and Milner are all close to going to City. And Milner looks like the George W. Bush monkey picture:
6/29/2010 7:30:26 PM
eh I guess my perception is skewed by his recent exploits with national teams. I just think he's a slimy dude... especially if I were a smaller club like Fulham. I'd want somebody to continue the stability that Hodgson brought and not just bolt to the next step first chance they gotnot sure what to think about Hodgson. I read this somewhere today and it's basically how I see it (and not how everybody in English media is sucking this move off) - "At the end of the day, Liverpool paid £6m to send the previous gaffer to the reigning European Champions and then hired Fulham's."I think Deschamps would have been an interesting hire
6/29/2010 7:37:13 PM
whats the best way to watch the premier league? Lets say i'm too cheap to buy cable just for that. Do they have something like mlb.tv?
6/29/2010 8:07:23 PM
iraqgoals.netyou can usually find a pretty decent stream (english) on any number of games on a given day.[Edited on June 29, 2010 at 8:10 PM. Reason : k]

David Silva to Citeh for 30 million oilbux
6/30/2010 9:11:40 AM
Yaya to Citeh confirmed. This move is such bullshit, they're signing somebody who isn't an overpriced defender or a random attacker?I fully expect a 40 mil bid for Terry within a week. But seriously, they were just buying anybody they could last summer. But the three players they've brought in this summer - Boateng, Yaya, and Silva - all look to be scary good pick-ups.[Edited on July 2, 2010 at 9:10 AM. Reason : I AM NOW A CITY FAN... no not really, but maybe if Donovan comes in too ][Edited on July 2, 2010 at 9:11 AM. Reason : .]
7/2/2010 9:08:14 AM
They're going to piss off a lot of their own players in the process.I don't believe we'll see any consistency out of them for a while, as long as they keep buying people off of name alone. And I'm ok with that.
7/2/2010 9:27:15 AM
I think it'll take a while to come together. But I think it's obvious Boateng/Toure fill actual needs for their squad. And Silva can play pretty much anywhere they need him.I'm just saying that this is a bit different than just throwing money at Robinho and Adebayor. I'm not penciling them in for a title or anything. That, of course, will be Liverpool now that they have Hodgson and 15 mil to buy a bunch of ballers.

Yossi Benayoun signs with Chelsea for undisclosed transfer fee signed 3 year £5 million deal
7/2/2010 12:27:43 PM
why in the world did they sign yaya toure? how many defensive midfielders do they really need???after next season i can see man city with less than 3 englishmen on the roster and prob no englishman starting[Edited on July 2, 2010 at 3:35 PM. Reason : f]

I think Dempsey would do well in Serie A and it would be a good idea to leave Fulham now and to cash in with his current formbut I was hoping for a club like Napoli though, and not somewhere where he'll be finding for playing time against somebody like Pato
7/5/2010 12:03:27 AM
I've heard enough Dempsey interviews that lead me to believe he's where he wants to be, at least as far as the league. I highly doubt he's starving to go ride pine with Gooch at the San Siro.
