the only songs I dont like are Cold Wind Blows, Youre Never Over and Seduction

I love So Bad, W.T.P., Not Afraid, No Love and a bunch of others. So Bad is my jam right now though, I love the horn beat. Apparently this is the only beat Dr. Dre did for this album. Its a different sound for Eminem songs and for Dr. Dre beats. Love it

^^I disagree. IMO So Bad is the only song on the album that absolutely sounds like it was done by Dre. It has a single instrument that stands out, very musical, hits harder than the rest, and sounds cleaner than the rest. I wish there were more like it. Great song.

Listened to it all the way through once.
Wasn't impressed.
Sounded like he was like "People liked me when I said fucked up things so I'm going to come up with a bunch of fucked up things to rap about for the sake of selling records."
We get it...Michael J. Fox has Parkinson's and therefore he shakes. 4Chan killed this topic like a year ago.
I dunno...It lacked that raw "working through your problems" type of emotion IMO.
I wouldn't be surprised if it grows on me after a few listens though.
Definitely glad I didn't pay $15 for it.

^I got that from "Relapse"....not "Recovery."

You might want to listen to it a couple more times and pay a little more attention to the lyrics. It has it's Michael J. Fox/Sonny Bono/Christopher Reeves moments...but in 17 full tracks, that's almost impossible to avoid.

lol... or the song w/Rihanna. Or "Space Bound"

fuck it, did he even listen to the album? or just "WTP" "Won't back down" and "Cold Wind Blows"

I can't find a song I want to skip.

I said I'd give it a few more listens, but...
It sounded like a bunch of first world problems to me.
It just didn't sound genuine IMO.
Sorry, b.

I can't even make sense of how you came up with this argument. Does having a good life make a person numb to others' emotions? Wouldn't a person with a bad life be more likely to tell Eminem that he is whining about a bunch of first world problems?

I guess that's supposed to be an insult, however you're the one who knows who Drake is. I had to Google that fucker. Sounds like you know a lot more about him than I do.

I'm not going to argue with someone's opinion...but I'll just say that your opinion is opposite of what probably 99% of people are saying about this album.

So either you're not "getting" the album or not really listening to the lyrics (which is probably right), or you just have a different interpretation of them.

Either way, it's your opinion, so I'm not going to blast you for it. But save a couple songs and/or lyrics, this is album is chocked full of "rawness" and "emotion." Probably moreso than any of his albums to date.

And to the fans, I'll never let you down again, I'm back
I promise to never go back on that promise, in fact
Let's be honest, that last Relapse CD was "ehhhh"
Perhaps I ran them accents into the ground
Relax, I ain't going back to that now
All I'm tryna say is get back, click-clack BLAOW

Listened to it two more times all the way through.

It is growing on me, but there are still no tracks that I look forward to hearing or that I really want to turn to when I first put it on this disc. It's a good album, but I still haven't heard anything to make it a great album.

Wahhh Reporters follow me, I smash mirrors, I have baby momma drama, I almost dissed Little Wayne & Kanye (but I didn't), and I do prescription drugs. All I have going for me is my daughter I apparently love, my health, my millions of dollars, my beautiful home, and a record label that would do anything for me if it means I keep me spitting out records. HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I did say it is a good album. Just over-hyped IMO.

yeah - i really wish these were included on the normal version and not on the "deluxe" album. i didn't realize these were two bonus tracks until i was talking to someone at work about the album and i mentioned how much i liked session one.

eminem and slaughterhouse is a sick combo. i think they're in the process of getting signed to shady/aftermath? i recall reading that on a hip-hop blog sometime back.

either way, two of the best tracks that came out of the recovery recording. try and grab them if you can.

Pull a fifth of Bacardi from outta my underwear
And walk around the party without a care
Like a body without a head
Lookin' like a zombie from Night of the Livin' Dead
And tomorrow I'll prolly still be too high to get outta bed
Til I feel like I been hit wit the sharp part'a the hammer
Mixin' Hennessey and Fanta with Pepto and Mylanta
I shoot the gift like I'm hollerin' "Die Santa!"
Miss the tree and hit Rudolph and two innocent bystanders
So quit tryin' ta play the wall like you Paul and
Get on the floor when the beat drops and stop stallin'
They call me the Stephon Marbury of rap, darlin'
Cuz as soon as they throw on some R-Kelly I start ballin'
Makin' it rain for them ladies in the mini's
But I'm not throwin' ones, fives, tens, or even twenties
I'm throwin' quarters, nickels, dimes, pennies up at skinnies
Man I do this for them bunnies up at Denny's
From the north, east and west, but when
It comes to them trailers in them South Parks
Muffle it, cuz homie that hood's tighter then Kenny's
So ladies if your belly button's not an innie then I'm outie
Now hop in my minivan, let's get rowdy

Now I ain’t back just for the sake of just saying I’m back
I could relax but I’d rather stack ammo on tracks
couple Xanax light a couple wax candles then black out
and relapse til I yack Jack Daniels and yap, burp bubbles
attitudes immaturing, double shot of bacardi party
vision is blurring, waa hooo I can’t see shit
my words get to slurring
uh oh, you can call me R Kelly now or urine trouble
whats incurring before after enduring the show
has no baring on the bad news I’m baring
whoa what is it word play
no I’m pushing you out the dumps
so suck my dick on the couch if you wanna cushion the blow
then stomp your fucking feet till you get to squishing a hoe
its panda-monium (?) when you see him, damn
baby you look good you’re giving me wood
you should pull over like a sweat shirt with a hood
(?) you and me both
break bread while I’m copping over this game
now pinch a loaf now homie who’s your favourite pain in the ass
who claims to be spitting the same flames as me
I’m Kanye when he crashed
in otherwords I got the hood on smash
like I stepped on the gas destroyed the front end
deployed the damn airbags from the dash
went through ‘em and laughed
came back an hour after the accident and bit
a god-damn jaw-breaker in half
so stop (?) the funk and start shaking ya ass
slaughterhouse in the house with the caucasion rapping
Just Blaze on the track
what the fuck is more amazing than that slut
answer me that, Royce where you at?
