I rarely use cologne, but when I do, it's either Curve, or Polo Black.

[Edited on May 9, 2010 at 1:43 PM. Reason : I've had the same bottle of Curve for like 10 years ]

"The best men's colognes for 2011 don’t follow the usual rules, so be ready for something different. You'll experience new scents based on the traditional aromas of wood and musk, but enhanced by rare herbs and flowers. Say good-bye to vetiver and most of the bergamot-inspired concoctions.

The big cologne trend of 2011 is a return to warm, earthy base notes with sophisticated floral top notes. The other trend is a break from complex blends centered on patchouli and tobacco. Sorry, fella, but your days of smelling like a pampered pirate are over.

spring is around the corner, what's the new hot colognes for 2011?

These are AMAZING. Discovered the brand at Heathrow a few years back. Bought something for my mom... too expensive. Didn't buy anything for myself.

This stuff is awesome as well, from Italy. They have a great ginger one, also a baobab one.

Best of all, the sprays cost about $6.

ive had more strippers comment on my cologne when i am wearing acqua di gio. Chicks dig that stuff, and somewhere in their twisted heads confuse that for liking me.

I've used Stetson for years.

But I might switch.

Quote :
"Acqua Di Gio gets me everytime. I have had so many experiences where I'd love a guy's cologne and ask him what it is, and it's that.

In one of my classes the teacher asked all the dudes to bring in the cologne they wear and they went outside and sprayed themselves with it. He had them walk back inside and had us girls go near each guy and we all voted for our favorites. One of the guys was a guy I knew wore it regularly, but for some reason I really didn't like what he had on so I picked the another guy instead.

Turns out the teacher made them switch bottles outside and I ended up picking the guy with Acqua.

That stuff drives me crazy.

Shit is like $100 a bottle, but it lasts a long time.

I also use the shower gel...but just because it was a gift. I can't justify spending $50 on a bottle of soap.

Tip: Paris Hilton's Just Me is nearly identical to Acqua di Gio but a fraction of the cost. It's not like any 20 something chick is going to know the difference. That said, you can tell just by this thread that AdG is worn by the masses so try to break free from the safety net once in a while.

Geir Ness, Mare, Set Sail St. Barts, Tabarome Millesime work well for me and DG Light Blue always pulled compliments when I had it.

I used to go crazy over Acqua Di Gio.... but a year or so ago I helped Eric pick out some cologne and he ended up getting this

I go crazy over this stuff.... I thought about getting a small travel bottle or something to keep at my place just so I can smell it every now and then.

hugo boss

i used to do a combo of curves for guys (the green bottle) and the blue bod stuff
this small doses made for a unique smell that was really good and no girl knew what it was and so of course...my special bottle is all they knew, and it worked well

right now i only wear two. 90% of the time it's Nautica Voyage. It's light and airy. I also wear Deisel for Men. I used to think it was a little heavy and musky, but it drives the girlfriend crazy. She burries her head in my chest every night I come over with it on, so i'll continue with that.

still would like something new for the changing season though. D&G Light Blue is definitely an option, i almost got it last year instead of the Voyage. Also there is one by John Varvatos that i really liked..
