I would assume Hulu might carry a few episodes to allow folks who missed the show to catch up. Netflix will not carry it until after the season is over.

today I went to the library and picked up books 2-4 (1 was checked out and 5 was there but for SOME REASON I didn't pick it up). Finished all of them in one sitting. Now I have to wait till Monday to check out 5. The suspense is gonna kill me!!!!!

I don't know if I'll make it till then ... I'm so close to just looking up on Wikipedia how it all ends

I've actually been telling people who haven't read it to hold off on reading it and allow the show to surprise them. I fucking love the series and have a subscription to the comics. But I think it will be a really faithful adaptation that will be amazing for first-timers to experience week to week, and then go back and read the books later.

I don't think AMC leaks their stuff but they send advance DVDs to the press

when I worked in NYC in the media I got the first 3 episodes of a new season of Breaking Bad on DVD in a promo pack weeks ahead of air

but they probably know what they're doing - I saw the pilot of Rubicon a solid month before release
my friend works on the show as a location scout and he was stunned when I told him I'd seen the show because HE hadn't

I was trying to say it in a nice way, but since you insist on being a dick: NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK WHEN YOU HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED THE EPISODE. I didn't say a god damn thing about when you can or can't form an opinion, and you should probably take a reading comprehension course if you think I did. All I said is that your opinion is irrelevant until you finish the episode. Do you talk shit about a movie halfway through it, or a book in the first chapter? I really enjoyed the first episode, the pace was measured but I expect that from AMC...some of the dialogue was a bit lacking in subtlety but overall it was really solid. Also it's fucked up dude's partner shacked up with his wife after only like a month, but I guess Zombie apocalypses will make people do crazy stuff.

The super nice bros at Ultimate Comics and Capitol Comics gave us a whoooole bunch of stuff to give away at the screening at Galaxy. At least a couple copies of the first two trades, bunch of copies of the first issue, and some other stuff that I'll have details on later.

The opening was a pretty good start to the story line, paced itself pretty good, but the middle and ending to me seemed a little too strung out and could have been easily edited down and still convey the story. Well I shouldn't have expected too much from AMC in that requards since most of their shows are a bit slow to progress, although I do like it, just think they could have showed more and cut some of the long unimportant sequences. The acting was pretty good IMO and can't wait to see the next few episodes. The ending of the tank of when he though he was gonna loose it was just an 'oh shit' awesome moment. Perfect acting there I thought.
