Boost is like male enhancement pills for tiny asian men...

With that said, blow off valves make me giddy...

I'd never really looked into the specs of the R32, but wow are they terrible.

A 3.2L engine that only manages to make 250 HP and sits in a small car that weighs over 3,100 lbs?

At least they have nice rims, I suppose.

fwiw, i dyno'ed my R32 on an AWD dyno and it put down 220whp and 222wtq. not bad. hrm i'm reckon my GTI now is quite a bit faster than that car, sweet.

I haven't had internet at the new house till today.
I'm using the Clear Wireless home setup, which so far, has worked surprisingly well.

The car is running 20psi with no problems.

I took shmorri2 for a ride in it yesterday and showed him a little of what it will do.

I drive it relatively nicely (haha) as far as shifting and launching is concerned. It will spin the top of second @50+mph, and then starts spinning them again in third @75+ if I don't get off of it. It easily does 100 at the top of third, and 4th pulls into the 120s. 5th gear pulls still, and I'm geared to 180, but I'd probably hit the drag wall before that.

don't have the $75 to go dyno it currently. I'm guessing that it is in the 350 neighborhood as it sits now.

Oh, there's no doubt this car is fucking fast as hell. Definitely a helluva vehicle. Thanks for the ride man.

powr/weight is a better comparison

350whp on a 2k# car is a decent ride

110whp on a 400# motorcycle is waaaahooooo

last I checked, I was right around 2900#. That can be in either the 2k or 3k class depending on how you look at it.

That was without the stereo though.......

the picture makes it look steeper than it really is. There really isn't that much slope too it; just enough that stuff will roll away if you aren't paying attention (like a lawn mower).

you can tell by the pixels..

but really, I took the picture from across the street w/ my point-n-shoot with a little zoom.
The shadow makes it look kind of like a chop, but I promise you, my side skirts were touching the driveway.

i can't say i really miss my imola yellow 20th mkiv GTI. it was fun for littlebit, but i could never get over FWD, even though i loved the car and especially that color.
